    The East

The east side of the city is often considered the heart of Sacrosanct. It's here were the majority of the shopping district can be found, deep in the heart of downtown. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often times, new comers to the city may be come overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever present feeling that's hardly noticed. The streets of the east side are frequented by all species as many companies are housed in the sky scrapers and hole in the wall establishments that line the streets.

    Downtown

The city has a unique skyline, clashing between modern sky rises and small victorian storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however.

Born a Were. Hah. Life would of been a lot simpler and less off a live or die situation in his youth if he was born one, instead of being changed by that bastard of a Were who lost all his human touch, and bit him. Everytime he looked at that bite mark that still looked like it was fresh, his mind just traveled back to that memory and that ever so fateful day. Pfft, fateful made it sound like a blessing of sorts; Like he had been knighted by a queen or king, and suddenly was this invincible knight of sorts. That was far from the truth, because it was a curse of sorts. It was a lie that Donovan missed his human life, and often found himself thinking of how his life would of turned out if he hadn't become a Were. Maybe he wouldn't of had to scrounge for money and food on the dirty streets of his old town, and maybe his parents wouldn't of disowned him… Tsch. Then again, he wouldn't of been as close to Laz and Elain if things were different. Not to mention he'd probably be missing all his tasteful and colorful tattoos.

His tattoos were very much like a cheetahs spots: He flaunted them with pride. After coming out of thought, he turned to Raven and frowned a little in confusion. Maybe he wasn't exactly like her, whatever she was feeling. But knew all too well if his blood boiled and his temper reached its climax, the beast would take over.. She'd understand that right? She's probably been a Were for longer than Donovan has.
Quickly, he removed his frown and pushed up against the wall after letting the woman regain her composure.
“I can hear that beast within.. I know how that feels.. Maybe not on the exact level.. I only go feral when my rage gets the best of me. But no, I was bitten by someone and forced into this life.. I've made the best of though.”
The tattooed man had explained to her as he put his hands in his pocket and looked at her and could see she was in pain, but she was doing good about not letting it get to her. She was tough, and he respected that.

As Donovan listened on, she said that she was part of a pack that owned the West side.. Huh, that's where he met Kat… Where he got his second chance at turning life around. Maybe all these events were failing into place for a reason. But the thought of a pack did kinda give Donovan a slight chill. Just like the Cheetah, he was selective about who he associated or ran with. But, perhaps this would have some perks to it.
“A pack?... I think I'd like to meet them, for sure.”
