    The East

The east side of the city is often considered the heart of Sacrosanct. It's here were the majority of the shopping district can be found, deep in the heart of downtown. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often times, new comers to the city may be come overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever present feeling that's hardly noticed. The streets of the east side are frequented by all species as many companies are housed in the sky scrapers and hole in the wall establishments that line the streets.

    Downtown

The city has a unique skyline, clashing between modern sky rises and small victorian storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however.

you could do anything,
if only you dared

Vhalla sighs heavily as the customer leaves with the entirety of the cake, the assassin quite near glaring at the man as he exits the small cafe quickly, oblivious to the death daggers she shot at him. Shrugging her shoulders, she turns her head back to the man at the counter, her eyes longingly lingering on the empty cake stand before she asks if there was another cake. When he responds, her blue eyes brighten with delight. “I think I can spare an extra ten minutes,” she says quickly, nodding her head in agreement. What could it hurt? She didn’t truly have anything going on today, perhaps staying away as far as humanly possibly as she could get from Lazarus… and Ellie. Damn, that girl was far too perceptive. The Daray sister had caught on almost instantaneously to Lazarus and Vhalla. Shaking the memory away from their night out, she turns back to the Italian man in front of her, “I want to whole cake, just so you know,” she grins at him as she suddenly pictures herself taking home the cake and gorging herself on it until her stomach hurt.

What better way to spend her day?

“What kind of cake is it? Is it chocolate? Oh, god I hope its chocolate,” she states, her mind picturing a delicious and rich chocolate cake as she leans on the counter herself. There was no one behind her, she hardly felt bad for taking the time of the employee as she waits for a response. “Oh, how much do I owe you? I might as well pay, I’m buying it either way,” she says suddenly, digging through her leather jacket to produce a wad of cash. Setting the money on the counter, she pushes her hair off her shoulder as she waits for him to answer. There’s movement behind him in the kitchen as her blue eyes train onto a dark skinned woman working alone in the kitchen, her dark hair pulled into a bun as she works efficiently rolling something out.

Vhalla can’t help but frown as she regards the woman with such a lack of expression. “I can’t say I’ve ever seen a were own a bakery,” she states before her attention returns back to the man in front of her, “And on top of that, why is a Dark Hunter working for a were creature? I thought all you guys did was hunt?” She muses thoughtfully, those eyes trained on the Italian man in front of her. That internal sensor had gone off immediately as she walked through that door, she had expected humans to be running this place, not a were-creature and a hunter. How bizarre. Shrugging, it really wasn’t her business, the woman was just far too nosy for her own good. “How long have you been here? You don’t look like you’re from around her,” she comments casually, keeping the conversation going while they waited for the cake.
