    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya disliked seeing her friend so unsure about herself in the manner the wedding was provoking. She smiled reassuringly at Isolt as the redhead cooed over the toddler in her arms. “There is no way any man would be unsure about you. You’re the whole package and don’t you forget it.” At Micah’s restlessness in the stroller, Nadya slipped him a ziplock of crackers to settle him. “Frost isn’t around all the time either; it’s normal for guys. Men…they like their space, their sense of freedom, even if it just means having another room in the house that’s theirs alone. It doesn’t mean they don’t want to be in a relationship.” Nadya shrugged slightly, “I think it goes back to that prehistoric wandering and hunting that men did. It’s still in their brains that they need to be off and about.”

Nadya could only hope at least some of what she said would make Isolt feel better. She moved on easily to the much more uplifting topic of a venue possibility. Sometimes her connections, albeit made in an unorthodox place, came in handy. “I’ll give him a ring and see what we can do.” She was determined to help make Isolt’s wedding day special in any way she could. Nadya was in no hurry and Izzy seemed to be loving the attention so she saw no reason to pluck the girl away. There was no reason to not let the redhead have as long as a moment as she wanted. Though there may be times when Nadya questioned her decision to keep the twins, the good times always outweighed so she couldn’t even imagine if that ability to have that decision was taken from her like it had been when Isolt was turned.

“Are you sure?” Nadya looked a bit reluctant at Isolt’s idea of the twins being in the wedding. “I mean…I think they’d look absolutely adorable…I just don’t want them to ruin your day.” She eyed her brood, Micah with his shy demeanor and Izzy who she wouldn’t put passed trying to steal the spotlight. Nadya played her fingers through Micah’s mop of hair that was looking more and more like his father’s. “I guess if we practice a lot…” A small smile graced her features. “We’ll make it happen.” She gently plucked Micah from his seat as he called for ‘ups’, only for him to wander over to Isolt’s legs and hug them for his turn. Nadya turned her gaze back up to Isolt. “Do you need any help setting up beforehand? How many guests are you expecting?”
