    The North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high class victorian architecture. The streets are paved with stone, the buildings are made of brick, and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting. In the North every establishment is made to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - weather it be illegal or merely looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allow them the luxuries that the North provides.

The taxi pulled up to the curb just outside the Witchery and the back door opened slowly. He stepped out of the cab carefully, taking his time as he looked around at the buildings around him. Pulling the black hood up over his head to cover his face better, he moved to take his luggage from the trunk of the car, handing the driver a good tip before he headed inside to get his room. Walking up to the desk, he smiled politely at the clerk. "Hi, I have a reservation. Walker, Christian." He waited patiently as she looked through her records before nodding in confirmation and grabbing a key from the back room. He took it politely and dipped his head before making his way up to his room. He didn't have much to unpack since he didn't have much to bring with him. He didn't bother taking his hood down as he opened one of his bags and went about checking for hex bags and other spells that could mean him harm. Call him paranoid but he knew not everyone was a friend, especially in witch territory. The Witchery belonged to another coven and it was always a mystery to him on what kind of terms they were on with the New Eden. Things changed at a moment's notice all the time.

Once he decided it was safe, he let out his breath in a soft sigh and set up his own wards to keep out tresspassers and those who might mean him harm. He wasn't in the mood to come back to have someone waiting for him. It had been done before. Then he made his way back out into the hallway and down into the lobby. He dipped his head in the general direction of the front desk in case the clerk was still there though he didn't look up to meet her gaze. He was always careful of who he chose to look at cause he knew how some powers worked and he didn't want anyone traipsing around in his mind. Too dangerous. He had too many secrets to keep. He found himself out on the sidewalk outside the Witchery, breathing in the night air as he started walking. He wasn't going in any particular direction, his head bowed, only lifting it enough to see where he was going to make sure he didn't run into anyone. His faded jeans made a light swishing sound as he walked, his black hoodie covering his torso and tussled brown hair, his intense blue eyes directed down at the sidewalk in front of his feet.

He wore Converses, comfortable and yet good for running or fighting, not that he did a lot of actual physical fighting. He knew enough moves to get the upper hand but he liked to do most of his offense from a distance where he was in his element, relying on his powers to see him to victory. He hated being in closed spaces or too close to someone, very much protective of his own personal space. That's why he stayed away from most of the heavy foot traffic on the sidewalk, even crossing the road when necessary to stay as on his own as possible.
