turning my cheek for the sake of this show73.32.203.196Posted On July 09, 2017 at 7:50 AM by henry tudor

Henry said nothing about the cheese fries, only wanting her to discover their awesomeness for herself. She would learn in time that some of the things he chose to eat were damn good…just like in time he assumed that he would probably become accustomed to raw meet and hunting. While the idea of hunting was not all that appealing to him now, he was sure that eventually he might grow to like the sport. After all, right now hunting made him think about how little control he had over his animal half and what that lack of control had done to the one person he loved more than anything.

They spoke about board games and quite honestly, Henry wasn’t sure if the hotel had any board games. He would look though when they got there. Perhaps there was something in the lobby.

He was so caught up in thinking about the board game that he almost missed Malia talking about not rubbing up on her to make Frost jealous. He sighed. “I’m not even sure if we’re allowed to hang out with people of another pack. By default I’m in Tet’s pack…and you are in Frosts. If you go back smelling like me, it’ll make Frost jealous. Jealous simply means that Frost will be upset that you had all the fun with me and not him.” That was the simplest way he could explain it in words that she might understand.

It was then that they neared the hotel and he slipped off to get him some cocaine. Truthfully, he felt a little guilty about it. He had been clean for quite awhile. But the stress of mauling his lover and becoming a were was hard on him. He wasn’t quite sure how to cope effectively. He didn’t know how else to deal with his issues other than to drown himself in drugs and alcohol like he had always done in the past. He sighed as he exchanged money for a bag of cocaine.

By the time he reached Malia again, she was even more curious about what he had. She asked what he planned to do with salt and he shook his head. “It’s not exactly salt. It’s cocaine.” He didn’t want to encourage her too much to take the drugs. After all, he didn’t want to be the reason she got herself down the wrong path.

By the time they reached his hotel room, Henry was ready to take some of his cocaine. He arranged it in a line, inhaling one before sliding into the seat to await the high to overtake him. When she asked if it made cold fries better, he shook his head. “Don’t use any of this stuff…it’ll mess you’re your head. It’s a bad decision I made.” He did not want to be responsible for her getting hooked on drugs. “Have you ever used a microwave before?” Now that was a healthier way to make her fries taste better.
