    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

The memories of her once thriving coven were well hidden as it was to even begin to contemplate those of her human life. She had nothing to compare to as Sebastian did. Perhaps if she could remember her family she could feel that pain he did. As it was all she could do was look at the ground where she kicked at a pebble as they walked, listening to him making an attempt at getting her to understand. “I don’t want you to go…and I like when you’re around and play.” Her comment was barely more than a mumble accompanied with a roll of her shoulder. It was hard to draw up emotion for those she didn’t know. Anna-Marie had made a small change in her habits, just for Sebastian, so she was trying. “I have a doll now. I don’t kill him. Does that count?”

Anna’s attention only turned up once Sebastian asked after her preferences. “I don’t know.” She glanced at her current attire with her dress reaching just past her knees. “I like this one? And…I like blue…like my eyes…like your eyes.” She smiled realizing they were the same hue. “We have the same eyes.” When they drew near the strip of boutique shops only straggler shoppers lingered on the sidewalks. The stores were likely to be closing soon. The path to the child’s boutique store took them past the women’s which caught Anna’s gaze. The dresses on display in the window were elegant and made for a night out on the town; something that would draw a man’s gaze. These were the sort of things which Anna would never get the chance to wear. There was a mixture of longing and frustration in her eyes. Even Anna understood she would never grow up and at times it lead her to bouts of reckless tantrums.

Now though, holding fast to Sebastian’s hand, Anna managed to peel her gaze from that storefront and on to the next which was for her. This one was eyed with much more suspicion once they stepped inside. “What if they don’t have one? It has to be really nice and pretty for a wedding.” The saleswoman was quick to call out from her perch at the counter. “Hello.” The woman rounded the counter and approached the pair with her perfected sales smile. “What a beautiful daughter you have.” She commented politely, making the assumption that all do when seeing an adult with a child. “Anything in particular I can help you find? Our winter selection just went on sale.”
