He was curious of the relationship between Andras and Navi. It seemed more like father and daughter but he knew they weren't blood related. He had become a protector of sorts over her and was her guidance. As they went through the portal, he told Navi she didn't have to push him like she did with Dorian and she nodded, leaning in to whisper that they needed to get moving before Andras lost something but she was cut off by Andras himself yelling her name as he marched up to them, ready to scold her for what she did to Dorian. Sure it could have ended badly but Andras had made sure the portal would be safe so the most Dorian had to worry about was vertigo from being shoved in and rolling through the portal. Troy didn't think so much of it. He would find a way to get over it, Troy was sure. As Dorian started going off on her, Troy instinctively stepped between them, not wanting Navi to think she was alone to take his anger. She didn't surprise him when she chose to step around him and toward Andras, simply telling him that she got tired of waiting. Troy found himself smirking, his brows lifting in amusement as his eyes twinkled.

Catching the tension in the air, Troy cleared his throat and shifted his weight, not wanting to interrupt the argument between Andras and Navi but feeling that it wasn't getting them anywhere productive. She told him that she didn't understand why Dorian was reacting so strongly before she scolded Andras for talking like he was her guardian. Apparently the feeling was only one sided that Troy had picked up on back in the garage. She was strong and independent while Andras felt responsible for her. Then she moved toward Dorian, very confident as she apologized to him and said next time she would let him make the choice. Troy tilted his head, watching with curiosity, one brow rising even as she then turned back to walk back to him and Andras. He kept the air light around him, though he noted that she looked thoughtful when she came back. She was quiet after that, looking at the scenery without saying much. He slowed down a little to walk beside her.

"I know we just met and you don't know me. I don't know you. I just want you to know, fairy to fairy, court member to court member and hopefully one day, friend to friend, I'm around if you ever want to talk. About anything. I promise I'm a good listener." He offered a lazy smirk, his eyes lighting up with the gesture. He didn't really expect much for a response but he figured he'd at least offer. Then he turned his attention to what Andras had to show them. Looking around at the others, he could see the wonder and questions in Navi's eyes but she cut herself off. Then she turned back to them and said that Andras could confide in her. Troy smiled. She may not have been talking to him but he felt that she was genuine. She looked truly captivated with the fairy city spread out before her and he didn't blame her one bit. He only remembered whispers of such magic from his younger days. He hadn't seen such a place in many many centuries.

Dorian seemed soothed by Andras attempt at apologizing, his voice calmer as he told him that he had nothing to apologize for. At least he heard Navi out before telling her that he would appreciate her letting him make the decision from now on. It seemed peace was returning to the court. Troy let out a long breath, contentment filling him as he looked out again over the magical Fae city. He noted when Dorian made a comment about being with them in a minute before wandering in a different direction and he'd stopped with the others to watch Dorian scrape the snow from the sidewalk before he pulled out a piece of pastel and started to draw. Troy couldn't help but tilt his head in confusion, Andras seeingly as lost as himself. Then Dorian reached into the sidewalk, pulling out a life-like jacket in the next moment to throw about his shoulders as if it were nothing. Troy lifted a brow, a smirk tugging at his lips as he chuckled. "Neat trick, Dorian. I bet that comes in handy."

Dorian looked upon the city and called it beautiful and Troy nodded in agreement. It was beautiful. Then Dorian began to ask questions. How the city functioned, how they got their food, the population, and electricity. He was very interested, apparently. Troy's brows furrowed. "You mean to tell me your majesty has never seen a true fairy city? Here I was thinking you were born into one. Royal blood and all that." He learned something new every day. He could see that Andras did care about Navi. He stepped into her path as she went off on him, his voice meant to be soothing as he told her that she didn't know the pasts of the other fae present. He gave her a goal, to maybe get to know Dorian more so she could ask him why he feared the portal so much. Troy liked his methods of redirecting her curiosity into something productive for the court. He seemed concerned about Dorian and Navi but Troy was pretty confident that it would blow over. Dorian wasn't an angry man by nature so it was only a matter of time before he forgave her and Navi. Well, he didn't really know Navi but she already seemed to be calming down so that had to be good.

Andras seemed confused by Dorian's drawing too before murmuring something about it being useful as Dorian reached them again. He even went as far as to tease Dorian about teaching him, Troy's eyes twinkling with humor. When he told Andras that he could trust him with this secret, he could see the relief in Andras' eyes as he said that it meant a lot. Troy smiled and nodded before pulling his hand back. He watched as Andras reached out to Navi again, ruffling her hair before he snatched his hand back as if not sure how she would react. His gaze was soft, almost apologetic and Troy was sure somehow that he would be trying to repair their friendship when they got back to the house. Then he turned to Dorian, answering his questions. Troy listened as well though he wasn't as surprised by most of what he heard. He'd seen and heard of fairy cities before. They ran on pure magic and needed nothing else. When a bunch of fae got together, pretty much anything was possible.

Andras looked over all of them as he told them how many fae was here before reminding them that he would be allowing Sebastian and Amelia into the world in due time. Troy nodded and smiled, his way of showing appreciation for the gesture. He was sure Amelia would love to see it. His eyes showed only understanding as Andras told them how this needed to stay secret for the safety of the fae here, for the safety of their race in general. He knew the importance of keeping it under wraps. Then he asked for oaths from Amelia and Sebastian when they were ready to come here and Troy nodded. "Understood. It'll be some time after the baby's born that Amelia can come here anyway. I'll keep my word. She won't know until the oath is given." Then Andras asked about going to the lodge, saying he could answer more questions there and Troy nodded again. "Ready when you are." He smiled.
