    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

The Monarch could so hardly help that roll of his eyes at that tease Andras afforded him at the very notion he had been rather scrawny when they had first met. Truly, he supposed, it had been so terribly long ago that Andras had been one of the few to witness the man within the grasp of those awkward teenage years that he was rather assured were hardly kind to any of them. Dorian near dreading to think back upon that rather long hair he had sported at the time and yet- such had been the fashion! That sudden interjection from Troy that he surely had some meat on him only to be followed by that equally good-natured laugh prompted that ready chuckle from the man in turn. Dorian falling silent once more as Andras chose to share his own story, in a sense, the Italian finding himself readily intrigued with such a tale- even if he so already knew several parts of it. It was, perhaps, not an unfamiliar tale in some sense. Andras’ parents hardly appeared unhappy and yet that Adras and his own Father had not always gotten on was a fact Dorian had known for some time. It was a curious thing, this manner of relationship and yet the man afforded it no comment, his head further nodded at Andras’ explanation off his own rise to that Fae throne in the wake of his father's retirement. Being King, of anyone, of anything, so had a habit of wearing one out….eventually. The Monarch casting such thoughts aside for now.

That tale Andras offered shifted then to speak of his and Dorian’s own first meeting those many centuries ago and too- the man first use of that unusual power for...portal creation that Dorian was rather assured he still did not understand entirely. He would need discuss this entire matter with Sebastian later on and too- perhaps he need take up Andras’ own offer to have the other Fae explain those details to his lover Dorian himself simply did not comprehend well enough to afford any true understanding too. Still, the Fae King remained silent for now, allowing Andras to continue with as much of that story as he cared too before he asked after any further questions to be held back for the time being, another pressing order of business so having arisen. Dorian hardly unfamiliar to that in any sense. He had but lost count of the amount of times his work had interrupted his and Sebastian’s evenings with things that ‘could not wait’. How irritating it could be at times. Dorian hardly begrudging Andras his need to attend to it. His own head nodding once more as he rose and Andras afforded them knowledge of those bedrooms they were welcome to make use off at any time.

“As Troy said, thank you for entrusting us with such knowledge, Andras. I shall not offer it freely to any other. I shall speak with you in a few days about how best we might explain such things to Sebastian.”

His attention shifted briefly back to Ide then, that housekeeper woman afforded a polite, pleasant smile.

“It was a pleasure, Ida. Good evening, Navi.”

It was perhaps a slightly cooler goodbye that was offered to the young Fae woman and yet, Dorian was so hardly a being inclined to hold grudges in any sense. Rather, he merely remained content to imply he was perhaps still unsure of the woman altogether and yet he hardly found enough distaste in her childish antics to afford her rudeness in any sense. His relationship with her would need be worked on, perhaps. In the very least she had proven to be a good listener to those tales even if she had hardly offered her own. Troy’s sudden offer to walk back to that portal with him readily saw the Monarch grin. That promise that there would be no pushing only further delighting him.

“Yes, thank you Troy, I would like that very much. I think, perhaps, you ought to go first….”

The man so readily moved to follow his companion out then, Dorian remaining distinctly close to Troy as if somehow fearing he might get lost without him.
