    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

    River Dale

    10 residents

    River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold true to the victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans and the occasional brick beams.

Abigail Hughes

She had never heard him sound like that before, that hiss he'd given that very woman that had so persistently chased her around the apartment was far more animalistic then the man she knew. In that moment, however, Abigail found herself not caring in the slightest. That pain within her paw was all encompassing. That fear and adrenaline that raced through her system saw the girl give into her own animal tendencies, resulting in her rather feeble effort to keep her injuries away from the man, even despite that simple knowledge that he would hardly harm her in the slightest. She could hardly help those whimper crying sounds that reverberated within her throat as he grasped her paw, spreading those toes only to reach out and pull that shard from where it had embedded itself into her flesh. That simple action, though swift, prompted a yelp from the panda and yet, Arlo was hardly done as he brought that paw to his mouth, using his own saliva to clot those wounds and his own blood to encourage that healing process to jumpstart in her already rapidly repairing system. It was only once he was done that the girl safely tucked that paw beneath her, using her own body weight to ensure no one saw it before she was ready for them to. Her fur remained altogether fluffed at the edges, the woman entirely inclined to remain settled in Arlo's lap, as if she could merely melt through the man and his sofa and not exist altogether.

The little panda hardly reacted to those gentle strokes of her fur, her hazel eyes instead steadfast on that young woman that had quite nearly assaulted her. Abigail hardly moved as the pair began to talk, the girl entirely content to listen, those ears flickered back against her skull, her heart still beating almost unnaturally quickly. Though her own name caught her attention, and though she certainly took an insult to being called a wild animal like some dirty vial thing, she remained exactly where she was. Those hazel eyes narrowed ever so slightly as the woman crossed her arms over her chest, the panda was entirely unaware that Arlo's own gaze did much the same. In fact, she had hardly noticed that shift within the man altogether, at least until the sound of his fist colliding into the sofa made her flinch, as if a part of her was still on high alert from that broom chase that had just occurred but moments ago. That sharpness to his voice was perhaps equally as foreign to her, she'd never seen Arlo quite like…this. That anger was quite near clear, that soft whimper upon her lips as that simple fear so plagued her once again. She'd still had yet a moment to simply….calm down from all of this excitement. It was just too much.

She was almost glad to be settled upon that sofa as Arlo moved to stand and, for a moment, the young girl remained hunkered against that material, simply watching the two with large hazel eyes. It was the sudden speed the man so employed that made her ears twitched as he pulled that broom from his roommates hands. That sudden loud snap of the handle, however, only furthered the girl's already heightened sense of fight of flight - and flight was altogether strong within her. Tentatively, Abigail tested out that paw, the girl content enough that she could put weight on it to move. She was only half listening to the way her best friend shouted at his roommate, the woman entirely focused upon being quiet as she climbed back to the floor, her movements entirely careful to avoid the mess on the floor. She made her way around the sofa, wedging herself between it and the wall only to nose the flaps of the back of the sofa open and, quite literally, to climb into the material. It was dark in there, hidden in that spot and yet, it was the perfect sort of safe place to hide away from that scary roommate lady and well...the man whom was her best friend, not that she had ever thought she might have the simple desire to run away from him.
