    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

dance to the rhythm of your heartbeat

Desire... It was something that Beylani had never felt stir within her her heart and soul. That is, not until she'd begun to realize those feelings that had begun to grow for the fae man she shared tonight with. Maybe even before then, before she had come to notice the way that he could make her smile like no one else had been able to, before she'd known that they would become more than unlikely acquaintances brought together by what had been, in those very first and frightening moments, less than favorable or desired circumstances to happen upon each other. She can remember thinking back to that night, daring to wonder what life for her now would be like if not for Andras having made such a fearsome entrance. What would have happened if just maybe her common sense would have warned her against wandering around Hyde Park in the pre-dawn light when the moon still glowed softly while one by one what few stars she could see in the city sky began to fade away? Had that logic found her then like it very well should have during those first beginning contemplations of exploring what was soon to become the closest thing to Willowhaven for the young woman, she never would have wandered into that dark and shadowed wood. She never would have stumbled upon that clearing then, and she never would have witnessed the bewildering magnificence that had been the dark fae man as he lounged there in the tree as early morning light began to touch down upon the vastness that was Sacrosanct. How different would her life have been if not for him? Yes, there was that strong likelihood that she never would have had to endure the pain of that attack when she'd nearly lost her life long before its due time, and she could have simply returned back to the comforts of that small Riverdale apartment after having essentially infiltrated that bar with Miya and Ludo that Halloween night and disappeared under her covers the resume a relatively easy and normal life. She could have gone from day to day, training and working under the supervision of her manager, the solemn owner of her favorite local café in the concrete jungle. She could have earned her wages and worked on reaching that dream of becoming a well-known photographer whose pieces were appreciated by tens of thousands of people across the continents.

And yet, she would have never met him and as she remained pressed not his side, she found that she couldn't imagine her life without him in it. If it hadn't been for that first night when she'd braved against all those screaming warnings that sounded in every fiber of her being, telling her not to dare press that shutter button and instead just leave before he could notice her, then she would have missed so much. She would never have met Ida, the older fae woman reminding the blue-eyed blonde so much for her late grandmother in so many ways that it nearly made her heart ache as she remembers those countless days she would spend listening to stories of old times, of fairytales that had never been more than that to the young girl. She would never have been whiskered away to Somnia in a desperate attempt to save her life that had been fading fast before the fae man had found her and brought a swift end to the vampire that had nearly been her untimely end. No, Beylani would never want to re-live that excruciating pain and she certainly would never have wished such a frightening experience on even her greatest "high school enemies", but if she had no choice other than to endure it again just so that she could keep Andras in her world, there would be little hesitation from the young woman to face it all over again just for him. Looking back on her life before the fae man, it all just seemed to black and white, nothing but a life full of dull shades and not the smallest drop of color to be found. It seemed ridiculous to think such things, especially when there really was so much about her life before him that she loved and wouldn't trade for all the hidden riches of the world, but in that very same moment it was just as impossible to think that he would not be part of her future, regardless of whatever part he was to play even when her heart seemed to know exactly what it wanted.

There was an undeniable and true difference between knowing what it was that her heart wanted, and knowing what it was that she should realistically hope to find in those hazel depths. Still that voice of doubt insisted that there was nothing in the fae man's soul that whispered of the same wants as her own, and that same doubt fought against those darker fantasies and desires almost with a sense of desperation to make the young woman realize that there was less than a one in a million chance that he might even feel a fraction of what she did. Time and time again, it would try and smother those desires that would find her whenever she was alone, whenever she dared to remember the way he would look at her, remember that firelight moment when he'd pinned her beneath him... Those words he'd roared the night she'd nearly died would always echo louder than that doubt though, enforced by those gentle touches from strong and capable hands that found her skin only fleetingly before now. It was a constant battle, and while that doubt was beginning to weaken, still it was enough to bring her from that place where those intimate fantasies occupied always, and she would be able to subdue herself in satisfaction that she was simply happy to have him as a friend. Even amidst the wild flurry or doubt on just what she was to him, she was always able to content herself with the notion that he cared for her to some degree, and only as a friend if that despite his bold and ever suggestive taunting that she was convinced he did for the delight of bringing that warmth to her fair-skinned cheeks. It was nothing more than that... No matter how much she might dare to dream that things could be different, that it were truly possible that he might one day feel for her at least a little more than what she almost entirely certain she was to him, Beylani simply had to keep telling herself that there was no way in heaven that he ever would and she had to be okay with that one way or another.

She does nothing to move away, nothing to look away from those predatory hazel depths that were all she could see in this moment. Time seemed to stop all around them and her heart only beast faster in her bare breast that pressed gently against his muscled frame, the warmth of his bare skin against her own igniting in her that flame of want, of desire steadily growing ever more familiar and inescapable that consumed her every thought and every sense of being as she remained there against the man that made her feel so many things she'd never known. Unbidden, she feels her hand move to rest upon that defined chest as he caressed the skin along her jawline ever so gently, almost tenderly. She tries to tell herself that there was no desire in those dark hazel depths that held fast to almost pleading baby blues that seemed to sparkle like the stars in the blue-black sky above them, but when those eyes of hers do finally fall to those lips of his she felt herself yearning to know the taste of, the sound of her name on his tongue has her looking back into those predatory hazel eyes that very much burn with wanting. It nearly steals her breath away, the young woman stricken into silence when suddenly, what little space that had managed to linger between them is quickly slain. The moment that his lips touch against her own, the flames of that unspoken desire for the fae man intensify enough to rival a thousand white suns and she is overwhelmed by that warmth in every part of her - emotionally, mentally, and yes, very much physically. Everything falls away then as she returns those gentle kisses, lost in the taste of him, a soft and involuntary moan of pleasure rushing through her in reply to his own growl as his hand travels down to the small of her back and he brings her even closer to him while the other lingers on her cheek. Her breathing quickens and her heart races, and as his lips leave her own and move to her cheeks only reason trail only her jawline and soon he is kissing her neck and again she can't help the soft grasp that ushers through her as she leans into him, one hand on his chest as the other finds itself on the back of his neck for reasons she doesn't even bother to think on, her head tilting upwards as her body seemed to beg for more. He continues to kiss her skin and electrify her as he travels to the place behind her ear before nips are her ear, followed by a single brushing of his lips to the skin on her shoulder. Then his lips lock with her own again, the fire in her own stomach burning fiercely at his touches and she is eager to deepen those kisses as her tongue slips over his own as she is swept away into the moment with no way of turning back.

Each and every kiss grows more passionate, more starved than the next as she presses into him, and she can feel his hunger as she is nearly in his lap now when she feels him harden against her soft skin and she only hesitates for a moment as her mind tells her where this would surely lead..."Andras...", she gasps softly between those kisses she never wanted to stop. It was the fae man who pauses now, their lips lingering so close as his nose brushes against her own, baby blue meeting dark hazel, both full of wild desire as he says her name again in a question that needed no other words. Was she ready for this? Never before had she... And then, what of the moments that would come after? Could she truly be okay with what was on the brink of happening when she still did not know how he felt about her, if just maybe he had considered her as a part of his life beyond more than simple friendship? Was she just a game, was this moment nothing more than a sudden lust instead of desire borne of something a much deeper, so much stronger? There was a large part of her, more than she could ever express, that wanted to take that plunge, to make him her first and the one to take away that innocence... but she was compelled to tell him. Why or how, she does not have the answer, but she just is."I've never....", is all that she is able to say. Her voice fails her then, but something in her assures the young woman so very at the mercy of the fae man that he would know what she was trying to tell him. She would not fight against it if this was what he truly wanted from her. She would give herself to him here and now, beneath the stars in the night sky for the heavens to see and know that she understood how she felt for him, that she loved him...
