    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

despite the weather it gets better, you won't do this alone

There had been a time when the two first began living together that James would instantly lose his temper with the woman. He could hardly stand her and her antics, the woman having pushed him over that edge numerous times. How she had gone from such a demure human to a demonic vampire was beyond him. It was as if she delighted in torturing him. So, the moment she rolls down that window, that cold air whipping in, he merely glances at her with those dead eyes. Yet, the man knew better than to comment, she would only make it worse for him. Returning those eyes to the road, they weave in and out of traffic in silence, the scent of alcohol heavy in the car already. It hardly takes them long before they reach the burlesque, James parking the car before he carefully allows that cheerful and mysterious mask to slip into place.

Letting himself out of the vehicle, he casually strolls around, opening the door for Ms. Dupont, carefully helping her out into that sidewalk with those absurd heels she always wore. He smiles down at her, that happiness hardly reaching his eyes as he links arms with her, quickly leading her into the burlesque. They are led away to a private booth, the hostess instantly recognizing them. It doesn’t take them long to slip into that booth, James, ever the gentleman, helping Lise slide in first. He soon follows as they order beverages, their eyes instantly settling on the crowd before them. He hardly enjoyed watching half naked women dance around on a stage, yet, it tended to be the best place to find creatures littering the area, seemingly drenched in desperation. It helped the pair to find just what they were looking for, those creatures tending to be too entirely drunk on lust or alcohol to notice what the pair’s intentions truly were

Lisé is quick to spot the new dancer. She’s shy and clumsy and utterly human. Frowning slightly, he turns to Lisé with his brows raised, “That dancer is human,” he drawls, drawing the line there. Humans and Dark Hunters were not to be touched, he had made that clear within those first years of working together. Though, he could hardly blame the woman, Lisé not having as easy of a time locating those filthy creatures he despised. “Plus, she will be missed,” he explains then, his eyes traveling the crowd only to find a lonely woman seated in a corner, her cheeks bright red as she watches the dancers. It was clear she had never been here before, that curiosity if hers forcing her to see it with her own eyes. That internal Hunter sense immediately labels her as a were-creature. That sly smile curls at the corner of his lips before those unfeeling eyes turn towards his partner.

“Her,” he says simply, gesturing with his head before slipping out of the booth as he prowls closer to their prey for the night. He hardly expects this woman to be difficult, she is the embodiment of innocence, though, he’s still wary as he wasn’t sure what animal she shifted into. As he sidles on up next to her table, he puts on his most charming smile as he glances down at the blonde woman, “Hello,” he says brightly, the woman suddenly glancing up at him in surprise, her cheeks deliciously red from the views she was taking in. “Is this seat taken?” He asks as the woman shakes her head no. Sliding in across from her, he placed his elbows on the table, leaning forward as he begins to converse with the girl, the woman slowly beginning to grow more comfortable around him. “My sister in law is in town, she wanted to experience the burlesque so I brought her out,” he says then, gesturing to Lisé sitting in the corner, beckoning her over. “Lisé, this is Hannah,” he says delightfully, those eyes flashing up to his partner, gesturing for her to take a seat next to him.
