Sebastian could hardly deny that small hint of amusement upon his features at the sudden offense Abigail took at being called anything but a real panda. Arlo was all together quick to backpedal, assuring the woman that he hadn't meant to insult her some much as distinguishing her from those creatures different from her. His gaze briefly shifted towards his lover, the vampire almost curious if they too had a tendency to such antics, to a certain extent. Fortunately, Abigail seemed all too easily placated before the topic changed to musical instruments, this surely a conversation he was far more keen on. Arlo's continued insistence that he was "working on" Sebastian prompted his head to shake ever so slightly, the man near ignoring both Arlo and his fiance's insistence that his abilities with that piano were nothing short of magical. Still, Abigail's insistence that the pair should play together was a concept he was willing enough to embrace. Admittedly, he rather enjoyed Arlo's company, as peculiar as the man was. They would have gotten along quite well in his bachelor days, he was sure, and yet….maybe it was only fitting for them both to find someone to tie them down at the same moment…

It was that chiding that brought his thoughts back to the present, the vampire wholly unable to help that roll of his eyes. "Arlo, I am British." He reminded that vampire, even though he was certain this was a fact the man knew particularly well. That accent had the tendency to become far heavier when he was under the sway of Arlo's own poison, the active effort he put into the pronunciation of those words somehow left him when so inebriated. That sheepish glance Arlo gave his companion prompted little more than the shake of his own head and yet, the fellow vampire seemed willing enough to indulge Abigail's idea of that musical session. His head bobbed at Arlo's comment to text, those blue eyes briefly sliding to the woman at his side. "You are, of course, welcome to join us, Abigail." Sebastian offered the young woman, after all, it had been her idea and her insistence that had prompted the invitation in the first place. That inquiry Arlo presented the pair of their own musical talents, however, prompted a hint of curiosity within the man himself. After all, he had never actually questioned his lover of his own abilities.

He was surprised to learn that Abigail herself hailed from a land in which musical instruments were altogether rare, and even more so surprised to discover that Dorian was well acquainted with a rather archaic instrument of his own. That amazement was altogether clear upon his features. Dorian's insistence that it was true prompted little more than a blank stare from the vampire, the man both considering how he could hardly imagine the King playing such a thing and whether or not he could coax such a performance from his fiancé. That equally blank stare upon Arlo's features, however, was likely prompted by a different reason entirely. He was quick to offer Arlo and explanation of that instrument, his explanation of its range decidedly crude and yet, truly, there was no other instrument quite like it. Dorian, for his part, seemed altogether quick to move the conversation along, instead inviting their guests into that dining room. His attention was altogether steadfast upon that young woman as she spoke of her own homeland, the vampire easily trailing after his lover in the process. That curious glimpse he was rewarded from the fae Monarch at the mention of cheese, however, prompted little more than a shrug of his own shoulders in response. This was a reference he too was ignorant of.

Sebastian was, quite frankly, hardly surprised by the sense of awe that settled on their guests once entering that dining room. He knew well what sort of lifestyle Arlo led, those finer things in life certainly out of the man's usual comfort zone. Sebastian was altogether content to allow Dorian to explain the usage of those forks and those courses that would soon be served, at least, until Arlo's admittance that he hardly even owned three forks by themselves. His own eyebrows rose as he turned towards the vampire, the man hardly anticipating the way Abigail so suddenly turned towards him to remedy this sudden issue. "All right, all right, we'll get him a full set of cutlery and dishes." The vampire responded, entirely unsure if this responsibility was really a necessity. Still, maybe for her sake, it wouldn't be an awful idea. Arlo was going to have to get used to the notion that Abigail required food eventually. The poor girl, frankly, he wouldn't be surprised at all if Arlo had simply forgotten of her mortal tendencies up until this point, just as well as he too clearly forgot some other things.

It was that hushed request to assist Arlo in the proper fashion to compliment women that prompted him to inquire about whether or not he had bothered to say anything at all to Abigail of her appearances tonight. The widening of Arlo's gaze told him enough of how accurate his guess had been. His head bobbed ever so slightly at the man's inquiry of weather or not he should inform her of it. "If you don't, I will," Sebastian responded simply, taking that glass of wine within his own fingers. That insistence that he should hardly look at the woman's legs prompted a grin on his lips as he siped that liquor, entirely content to simply watch Arlo as he so fret over the woman beside him. He listened wordlessly as Arlo explained his predicament with that 'Friend Zone' he so found himself in. His eyebrows rose ever so slightly, "Arlo….girls like her are…" He paused, his gaze turned towards the young woman, the man clearly considering the choice of his words. "Mate, if you want to be out of the Friend Zone….you gotta tell her. Take her on a few dates, show her what it could be like to be with you, and then tell her what you want. Girls like her need someone to be forward, otherwise, it's all going to go over her head. I'd bet a grand that girl is still a virgin. Women don't react like she does without being pure…..and all just for you, Arlo." He provided his companion with a singular wink, at least, until his attention turned towards that first plate of salad placed before him. "Ah, thank you Elizabeth." He commented softly for the young woman, his gaze turning ever so curiously back towards his vampiric companion. A part of him was almost looking forward to seeing that glimpse of surprise upon Arlo's features when the man discovered exactly what he had done for his account alone.
