    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

The Order of Things 209.237.83.45Posted On January 20, 2018 at 9:28 AM by William Townsend

Townsend walked through the foyer and back around into the kitchen, with Taylor following him closely behind. He rolled his eyes at Taylor’s previous comment and adjust his cuffs delicately.
“Bright eyed… And bushy tail? I dare say, that’s the most generic of greetings I’ve ever heard. Nonetheless, I’m quite chipper.”
Townsend addressed Taylor as he would go back towards the stove that had the heat turned down to the lowest possible setting to keep the sausage from burning.
Taylor greeted Reginald cheerfully, and Adelaide had that glow about her being in the prescience of the long haired man.
It would seem that Taylor was trying to get Townsend to come around some with his cheery voice and words.
Even asking beforehand to get a cup of coffee as he nodded at him, giving permission.
Townsend turned back to the skillet and turned the sausage with his spatula.
Next was the eggs, that would be turned into a scramble as he carefully added the fluffed mixture to the almost done sausage.

With great skill in his wrists, he carefully folded the mixture and then let it cook for a moment to turn to Taylor, who had asked Townsend what he’d be doing around the house today.
To be frank, he hadn’t really thought too much about it. He paused and leaned on the countertop with his hands together.
“What can I have this young man do for me? Surely there’s a little something he’s yet to do..”
Townsend would think to himself as he kept mulling things over while Adelaide was enjoying Taylor’s company. Reginald even seemed to be happy, which was weird to him.
Reginald acted a little hostile towards Taylor, but he seemed to be warming up to Taylor quite steadily.
Townsend chuckled a little as he found the thought cute in someway, and uplifting.
Maybe he would have to learn from Reginald, but he would have to gradually ease into it.
Taylor was starting to show he’s good intentions, this is true. And he certainly only wanted the best for Adelaide just like he did. But it would take some time, after all, Townsend didn’t want to hear from her father about something that he disapproved of.

But Townsend didn’t care for her father's opinion. He was, quite eccentric when it came to Adelaide’s well-being. More than Townsend was. Which was saying a lot in this case, seeing as he was extremely protective of the madame.
So maybe he was making a fuss of things in his mind for nothing.
Townsend hastily set to work on making some extra scramble for Taylor, and even snuck a tiny piece of cooked sausage to Reginald.

“So for today’s agenda, I thought I’d have you fix up my little garden I have in the backyard. Some of the rose bushes need to be tended to. And I bought some flowers that need to be introduced to the soil. I trust you know how to do that without mucking it up?”
He asked Taylor as he turned around with both skillets and set them on the covered surface he had laid out earlier.
He carefully played the food and served them up to both Adelaide and Taylor, silverware included. The pair seemed to be very happy with how the food looked, and he couldn’t be prouder of his work.
He leaned over the counter with his cup of coffee, waiting for Taylor to respond.
