    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

Townsend wasn't the only one feeling suspicious when Adelaide decided to finish her meal off and excuse herself to work, leaving them alone to work through the chore list...and their differences. He knew that Townsend only wanted what's best for her. He didn't fault the man for that. He was glad Adelaide had someone like him to watch over her. He didn't want to think what the situation would be like if it were her father standing in his place. Taylor would have never been able to work for them, he was sure. The moment her father had an inkling that there was any attraction between them, he would have sent Taylor packing. Of that, he was sure. Townsend was tolerable of their affections which made him hopeful that in time, he would earn Townsend's respect and possibly even his friendship once he saw that Taylor only wanted what's best for her too, even if it wasn't him.

He wanted to chuckle when Adelaide told Townsend to play nice. She knew all too well how hard the Englishman was on him but Taylor took it all in spades. He would take on anything for the hope that one day, Townsend would approve of their relationship. Whereas other men would probably tell him to fuck off and mind his own business, Taylor cared very much what Townsend thought of them because he knew how important he was to Adelaide. When he called him Boss man, he sensed a change come over Townsend, and not in the good way. He braced himself for antoher lecture as Townsend hunched over the counter and eyed him like a stampeding bull. He told him that he wasn't to be called that then asked to meet him in the garden because he had to change. Taylor nodded his head. "Duly noted, sir. I'll be waiting for you in the garden then." Unable to resist the urge to give him a friendly smile anyway, Taylor made his way out the glass doors to the back yard and made his way to the shed next to the garden.

He started gathering the tools they would need to whip it into shape before bringing it all out by the garden gate where he then waited patiently on Townsend. Rose and Reginald followed, though Rose still stayed stubbornly out of reach. Reginald stayed close at hand as he gathered everything and he chuckled, reaching out to scratch the dog in his favorite spot behind the ear before he grabbed a hoe and started to work, sure that Townsend didn't want him to just stand around and wait. He knew what gardening meant, after all. He prepared the soil for the new plants before putting on some leather gloves and moving to the rose bushes. He was just starting to prune and weed them when he heard Townsend coming out. He diligently focused on his work though he kept an ear out behind him in case Townsend needed him to do anything else first.
