    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

The woman had taken an instant liking to Donovan, the man hardly seeming to care what she thought or any one else for that matter so when she asks him what he did for work, she’s almost not surprised with his answer. Brows arching at him as she listens, she doesn’t deign to reply and instead, her fiery gaze is pinned on Lazarus at his smart ass reply. She can feel that power flickering to life inside her body, the flames that threaten to ignite at the palm of her hand. Lazarus had clearly not learned his mistake from that night in the bar. How she so desperately wanted to punch him but instead, she finds what little self control she has and merely shoots him a glare full of death, egging him on to make another comment, “Careful,” she murmurs to him, her voice void of any warmth, the two back at square one. Vhalla was certain the man hadn’t forgotten the night she had put him on his back and left a bruise on that chiseled face of his.

That animalistic growl from Donovan has Vhalla returning her blue gaze to the man, the woman merely blinking at him in surprise. It was such a familiar sound… the woman having heard a growl similar to the noise Tetradore would make. Frowning at him, she hardly takes the time to inquire about it, it was clear the man was some sort of cat in his other form. Still, even as her anger so rises to the surface, she can’t help but follow Lazarus with her eyes, scanning him from head to toe, those scratch marks on his back still very much prominent from their roll in the sheets. Its when he turns and offers her that drink does Vhalla finally seem that mark on him, jealousy raging through her like nothing had been before. It was surprising all the same but more… it pissed her off. Eyes narrowing as her eyes seem to flame with blue fire, the woman merely turning around to ignore him. Part of her prayed he would say something stupid so she could hit him, part of her hoped he kept his mouth shut.

Vhalla ignores the jab thrown at Donovan, hardly caring what their issues were, she had plenty to deal with and the last thing she needed was someone else problems to keep her up at night. Yet, she’s not ignorant to the tension that so seems to go taut between the two men, brief curiosity flaring in her before she’s shoving it down. It wasn’t her business and she wasn’t about to make it hers. Yet, Vhalla stills when Donovan throws a question back at Laz only to hear that familiar aggression so filling his tenors as he snaps at his roommate. Vhalla is careful to hide her emotions there, not wanting to get in the middle of it and yet… she couldn’t help herself as she tosses Lazarus an impassive glance over her shoulder, “So you can dish the shit but can’t take it?” She drawls out dryly to Lazarus, her brows arched at him as she eggs him on. Returning to ignoring the man that had so snuck into her thoughts as of late, her blue eyes find Donovan clutching at that coffee as he asks her what she does.

Vhalla hardly gets a chance to say anything before Lazarus is questioning her, her head snapping back to him as her entire body stiffens with rage. Again, that wolfish grin seems to find his features as fire flickers at her fingertips, the woman so very close to losing her cool. For gods sake, she was only here for Ellie and this is what she had to deal with, “Shut up, Laz,” she grounds out, narrowing her gaze dangerously at him, her hand fisting as she attempts to snuff out that fire, only to succeed for the briefest of moments. Deadly eyes return to Donovan then, praying to god Lazarus wasn’t about to say something stupid that would set her off, yet, she had a distinct feeling he was trying to. “I work closely with people and get called in to clean up messes, to take care of problems,” she says vaguely with a shrug, hardly wanting to tell Donovan she was a trained assassin. Yet, she could provide at least some information to the man. She can feel his eyes on her back, her entire body stiff with rage still, her scent absent of that wanton lust she had so held before, the woman still entirely pissed at the man.

Why, she couldn’t imagine. What did it matter that Lazarus had gone out and slept with another woman? It shouldn’t matter to her, she shouldn’t care and here she was, her rage stemming from jealousy of all things. And yet, she couldn’t stand that he was looking at her like that, like he wanted to slip her clothes off and take her right then and there, he didn’t get to think like that after taking some other tramp to bed. Clenching her jaw, she lazily looks over her shoulder, glowering at him, “Enjoying the view? Take a picture because that’s the closest you’re going to get to me,” again was that unsaid word though there is a familiarity in that statement, the woman having growled at him that first night they met in the bar. Still, her fierce look is daring him to say something, to challenge him.
