    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

death incarnate & night triumphant

His mind had been entirely warped by Lani. He could not close his eyes even for the briefest of moments without seeing her face. She was a drug that he wanted to consume time and time again, never caring about the consequences of her addiction. His memories, as of late, had been continuously playing the cabin scene in his head, the two finally crossing some invisible line that had been drawn. Andras couldn’t help it, his self control was waning more quickly than he would have liked, he couldn’t stop seeing her, scenting her, and the way those mewling sounds so crawled from her throat... Andras simply had to hear those again. He wanted her to call out his name again and again. He has to shove those memories away roughly, his pants beginning to feel a touch uncomfortable as he finishes getting ready. Lifting a hand to the bridge of his nose, he pinches it hard as a sigh falls from those dark lips. He needed to behave, needed to push those delectable memories away, lest he make a fool of himself in front of her parents. Truly, he had been rather surprised when she invited him over for dinner, the man hardly thinking it through before he had accepted her invitation.

What he hadn’t realized was that she would be cooking. That age old faerie tradition comes to mind, and though Lani would think nothing of it, it would mean far more to the monarch than it would to her. Moving toward the door of the townhouse, he pushes through it and into that chilly afternoon, that scarf Lani has so made for him wrapped around his neck, his fingers moving up to brush the soft fabric tenderly. It was something he would always cherish. He takes his time in moving down the street, his stride a slow meander as he passes the pedestrians, hardly paying attention to anyone, his mind entirely preoccupied with the human woman. He knew he was early but he needed to rectify the predicament he had found himself in and he truly did want to meet the woman’s parents, to see why she was the way she was. Curiosity so drifts into his features as he reaches her apartment, standing outside for a brief moment before moving inside the building, climbing each flight of stairs with ease.

Before he knows it, he’s outside the woman’s door, her scent tickling his nostrils as she listens to her shuffling around inside. A tender smile so curls at the corner of his lips as he raises a hand to wrap on the door, neither forcefully nor quietly as he patiently waits for her to open the door. When she does, his dark hazel eyes meet hers, her beauty practically taking his breath away. He would never tire of seeing her, of being with her, even if they couldn’t move forward in any sense. Casually dropping a smile down at her, his brows raise at her in amusement, “Hello, Lani darling, are you going to let me in? Or will I be subjected to remain outside?” He teases her, waiting for her to invite him in. When she does, Andras casually moves past her, eyes darting around the small apartment in search of that bloody cat, “I see you out your devil of a cat away this time,” he says dryly, not particularly caring for the last interaction he had with the cat, merely because the animal had harmed his Lani. When he’s satisfied with the exploration of her apartment, he turns back to the woman, unraveling the scarf from his neck and draping it over a chair.

His jacket is soon to follow, no wings in sight, as he reveals a deep gray button down shirt, fitted perfectly to reveal some of that corded muscle beneath that clothing. “Have you told your parents that I’m not human?” He asks casually, bringing a hand up to tap at his delicately pointed ears, “Unless you have a bandana and I can act as a hooligan, these pesky ears are incredibly hard to hide,” he explains gently, closing the distance between the two before that pesky hand reaches up to stroke her cheek, “I forgot to ask, how are you, beautiful?” He murmurs, his hazel eyes boring into her blue gaze.
