    Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. Although these houses are somewhat small (often two to three bedrooms) they feature back yards, porches, garages and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and for the neighborhood as a whole.

    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

    River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold true to the victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans and the occasional brick beams.

you could do anything,

“I think I would have made a good Dark Hunter,” she muses thoughtfully in response. Truly, Vhalla would have made an outstanding Hunter given her particular skill set and she would have been nearly unstoppable if she had been gifted with those heightened senses. Though, it wasn’t the fate she had been given and truly, the woman would hardly be like she was now if she had never met Ivan. There were times when she thought about how her life would have turned out of Ivan had never made his first appearance in that park, if she had never lost control and set her house on fire. Who would she be today? Would she have lived a relatively normal life? It was these thoughts and dreams that found their way into her mind every once awhile, though it hardly took long before she would stamp them out. It didn’t do her any good to dwell on what could have been, there was no altering of the past. Returning her attention back to Laz, she suggests that he had been stalking her, the man leveling a glare at her that had the ability to wilt the flowers around them. The woman affords him a wide grin then, enjoying the way she was able to push his buttons, to get him wound up. “Well, you are here so if you weren’t stalking you were following, which, really, is the same thing,” she grins at him coyly, enjoying this banter between the two of them.

She’s quick to change the subject, Vhalla finally asking him to help her and even going so far as to show him those pesky manners that were absent within her. That singular word seems to launch both of them back into the memories of him taking her hard, her nails digging into his back as she had been so ravaged. Heat floods her core and her breathing hitches in that moment, her neck feeling flushed at the memory. How she wanted to feel that again. That thought has her pausing, never in her life had she ever wanted something like that, and yet, it had never felt enjoyable before Laz. It had merely been a job or for Ivan’s pleasure, the woman hating anything that gave Ivan pleasure. She doesn’t miss the way Lazarus’s body stiffens, his own eyes flashing with desire as they mirror her own. She has to swallow several times, her blue gaze locked on him before she turns away. If Lazarus had made a move, she doubt she would have denied him anything in that moment, she would have begged him to make her feel like he had the other night. She hardly cared that they were in a forest where anyone could see them, that there was snow on the ground, she merely wanted him.

Still, as she moves quickly away from him, she begins to subdue that desire within her, her cheeks tinged with pink as she attempts to get her breathing under control. When she parts her lips to tell him to leave, there is silence on the receiving end. Perhaps he had left. Part of the woman feeling disappointed while the other point is relieved, she still hadn’t a clue how to handle these… frustrating feelings. They were all too new to the woman, not entirely sure what to do with them. Even with Tet she hadn’t had such desire coursing through her, nor had she wanted to ravage the were-panther like she did with Laz. Swallowing again, she instead, falls into her power, diving into that pool as she folds herself into time itself, only to appear above that stupid pond. Shrieking, she dives straight into the water having a rather difficult time righting herself before her head breaks the surface. Coughing and spluttering, she doesn’t notice Lazarus at first as she swims over to the edge, pulling herself onto solid ground. Spitting out those words, her body shudders violently as she curls into herself attempting to warm herself, though it was hardly helpful, the water having leeched any warmth left in her body. Glancing up at him, her blue eyes watch him as he unzips that jacket of his and wraps it around her shivering frame. She hardly complains, though the jacket does nothing to warm her up, still, she would get whatever warmth she could get.

When he puts his hand out, she flicks her eyes to it for the briefest of moments before her frozen skin reaches out and clasps his hand, coming to a standing position. It takes a minute to convince her legs to move, to push her into standing next to Laz and she can’t help but huddle in closer to him, going as far as to press her wet side against him. She needed warmth. Those instincts demanding she seek heat from a viable source and Laz was the viable source. Shuddering, she wraps her hands around herself, tugging that jacket to engulf her as she buries her nose deep into the coat, his jacket smelling of cologne and distinctly of Lazarus. “I think you just want to see me naked again,” she shivers, her notes teasing as if she could forget how frozen her body is. Huddling closer to him, “Fuck,” she stutters out, “Put your arm around me,” she mutters, seeking shelter beneath his strong arm, pushing closer to him as her wet, braided hair drips water onto the ground. “Let’s go,” she states as she moves them along as quickly as she can. Vhalla is hardly able to talk, her lips turning purple by the time they reach that warehouse door. Reaching out with bright red hands, she fumbles with the handle, frowning fiercely before her blue eyes shift up to Lazarus, “I can’t,” she says, her hands far too cold in order to open that blasted door. Waiting for Lazarus to let them in, they stagger up those stairs and into that apartment. “I need to get out of these clothes, I might need your help,” she looks at him, gesturing with a frozen hand to the zipper on the back of her suit, “If I couldn’t open the door, there’s no way I’m going to be able to get that,” she shivers again violently, refusing to let go of Laz and his warmth, hardly caring that his entire side and arm was drenched with water.

Tugging him to that bedroom, she ignores the bed for now, not wanting to draw up memories of their night spent in here, she pulls him into that much larger bathroom. Finally releasing his arm, she shrugs that soaked jacket off her shoulders, letting it pool on the ground as she gestures with a frozen hand to the hidden zipper, “I just need help getting out of this suit,” she says, her body continuing to shiver as she waits for the man to get her out of her clothing.
