    Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawethorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three story townhouses, often with a one to two car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

His taunting words echo through the bathroom, drawing a faint smile to those luscious lips of her as she settles farther in that tub. “Believe it or not, Laz, I’m a pretty honest person, whether I’m sober or drunk,” she drawls lazily submerging her shoulders into that water as she soaks in the heat. How deliciously good that heat felt on her skin, the purple in her face and hands finally fading as she releases another content sigh. The sound of the shower being turned out draws the assassin’s attention once more, blue eyes flicking towards the man as he dries himself off, only to wrap that towel around himself as he steps into plain view. Icy eyes snap to that muscular torso and chiseled chest, lust dancing across her features as her gaze slowly travels his frame. His words snap her out of it as those blue eyes raise to meet that forest gaze, again that lazy smile so toying at her lips, “Perhaps,” she muses thoughtfully, “I figured it was only fair since you were enjoying the view when I was getting in the tub,” she gestured with a hand casually as water flicks to the ground. Such dangerous words she said... such a fine line she was walking.

That lust dissolves in her only to change into wariness as he offers to get her something, the woman clearing her throat before sinking farther into that tub. She could handle angry Laz and lustful Laz... she wasn’t exactly sure what to do with kind Lazarus. It was such a bizarre feeling it made the woman feel almost uncomfortable as she waves him off telling him to leave the suit. His comment draws a smile to her face again, “Most of them are fire based, a few smoke bombs and some that distort the senses. The fire ones won’t affect me and neither will the ones that mess with someone’s senses. I don’t have heightened smell or hearing,” she shrugs nonchalantly, “The smoke one would have been inconvenient but we would have figured it out,” she released a dry laugh, “Plus, if you tried getting handsy then I would’ve just let it go off, it would’ve served you right,” she tosses him a playful smile, a grin dancing upon those lips. Truly, it was strange to see the two from going from absolutely despising each other to this... whatever this was.

As he exits the room, those notes following him down the hall. What a very interesting predicament she had found herself in, the woman hardly knowing what to do in a situation such as this. Heaving a sigh, she finishes in the tub quickly, drying herself off before slipping into those oversized clothes, that chill finding her skin once more. Trailing down the hallway, she finds Lazarus almost instantly, the man casually draped across the couch as that damn chest is put on full display again. Perhaps, under other circumstances, she might’ve stood there and enjoyed the view for a touch longer, yet, that chill races through her body, shoulders shaking from that cold as she tosses him those sweatpants he had worn last time he spent the night. She’s not surprised when he changes right then and there, the woman having enough sense to divert her eyes this time as she is chased under that blanket by that constant shivering that so racks her body. Huddling beneath that blanket, she hardly cares that she makes the man uncomfortable by doing so, the woman merely seeking that warmth her body so craved. Curling inward on herself, she lets those muttered words find the light, Lazarus practically laughing at her in response.

She shoots him a dirty look, though it hardly held any of that usual fire and disgust, instead, she sighs and allows a small laugh to escape her own lips, “Prick,” she states in amusement, “I wouldn’t listen to you just because you couldn’t tell the ass end of a donkey,” she teases him, that playfulness so costing her words again. Another shiver races down her spine as she automatically leans into Lazarus, finding his warmth that much more comforting. Realizing what she had done, she stiffens for the briefest of moments before she relaxes, “I’m going to stay like this for a minute, your body is warm,” she states, hardly giving the man a moment to object before she huddled closer into his side, her head resting on his chest. Almost instantly, that chill begins to chase itself off with the additional warmth from Lazarus. Sighing in relief, she can feel that tiredness tugging at her eyelids as they drop sleepily, “Thank you,” she mutters tiredly, her words almost incoherent as sleep starts to take her, “Let me just stay like this for awhile... I’ll be better in a minute,” again her sleepy words are stated quietly, her eyes finally falling closed as sleep overtakes her.
