Only the finest things that money could buy were satisfactory for Vitani, even when she delighted in the one thing that hardly came at much of a cost. To her, that is. This game that the fae woman played with such precision and wicked pleasure, it left a trail of broken hearts and shattered dreams belonging to the poor and unfortunate men that had made the same fatal mistake those before them did. Well, most of them did. There were those that understood exactly what a night beneath the covers of her california king would result in; a one-night stand. She was hardly after another beyond that in these more recent months simply because she had all the money that she could ever want or need. Thusly, there was no real need for her to make another fall so hopelessly and helplessly in love with her. Oh, if she truly desired to steal a man's heart and take it as a prize, it would take little effort on her part to do so. She'd committed this crime more times than she could ever care to really count, so she knew the rules like the back of her hand, entirely aware of the part she would need to play and the time that it may - or may not - take to coax that beating symbol of all things warm and pure and devoted into those soft hands of hers. If ever she were feeling particularly cruel, which was more often than she would ever admit to another, it was an easy feat to accomplish. It was almost like a mere flick of her hand, or in this case, a bat of those long ebony lashes over pale peridot eyes and half the game would already be won in most instances. Some were a little harder to push over that edge and down into those cold and unforgiving depths that waited below disguised by warm and tranquil waters, but Vitani did so love a good challenge every now and again. So, yes, it couldn't be clearer with how she sat there in that limousine just how much she enjoyed the expensive and luxurious, but there was more to all to it than the Italian man knew of - and might never know.

She could tell that Ludovino was hardly comfortable on that short drive to Acosta Heights, and that was why she half-“hearted”ly attempted a little pointless small talk to try and put him in an almost sedated state. He seems to get over it though when the vehicle slows to a stop and they move from the Lincoln Continental and into the entryway of her mansion. She acknowledges his compliment on her home in a nonchalant manner of thanks, but is just as content to dismiss it as she wastes no time in moving gracefully over to the stairs. They weren't here to talk architecture or interior design. Oh no, they had much more... pleasurable things to indulge in. As they ascend up those polished stairs, the fae woman is does not even so much as bother to loom over her shoulder to the Italian man, entirely aware of the way that his eyes lingered on the sway of those womanly hips with every step she took. She could nearly feel the way that he took her in, a tinge of satisfaction dancing fleetingly through pale peridot eyes. It is when Ludovino’s accented baritones comment on the extravagant light figure that hung from the ceiling, a clear indication to Vitani that he was, for one reason or another, making an attempt to distract himself from the sight that she was more than content to afford him, perhaps even tease him with should his thoughts travel to those darker, more lustful places. When they reach the top of those stairs, now standing in that first room, she turns to face him for a moment.”What better way to welcome guests?”, she answers in those silken smooth words, giving him a coy smile before turning her back to him once more, guiding him across the untarnished, polished hardwood flooring towards where the bar rested.

It was almost a shame really, that Ludovino was the first from the outside world to step within the walls of the fae woman’s home. Vitani preferred the quiet that came with such solitude, though, never having been one for aimless chitchat unless it proved to be a necessary part of obtaining whatever information or favor she was interested in pursuing. Even Darci and Amanda, the two young maids that were kept constantly working to ensure that everything in Vitani’s residence was spotless and precisely placed, made no effort to share in a brief conversation with the fae woman. They were made aware the moment that she had hired them that there one and only purpose was to serve her, to maintain the upkeep that she so demanded of them to carry out tirelessly, the only true time the fae woman ever exchanged more than a simple order with them being when she felt that she needed to assign a particular errand to one or both of them for that particular day. She could care less if they enjoyed one another’s company, if they would talk or giggle amongst themselves. So long as they did not fail to prove of use to Vitani, she hardly cared what they did. Unless they slipped up. Then, just like any other being that the woman tired of, she would cast them aside and find others that might prove to be of better service to whatever fleeting whims she might have. It seemed heartless, and she wouldn’t try to conceal it as anything but what it was, though she would keep such affairs behind closed doors as she did with everything else however true they may or may not be, but in the end, it was hardly of any concern to Vitani how the world would see her for it anyway. After all, human lives were so terribly short as they were, the fae woman having had to replace a large number of her past servants as they succumbed at the hands of old age, so she thought nothing of replacements.

As they depart from that room and into the next, wielding another fireplace and two leather armchairs, she turns to glance over her shoulder for only a moment, keen pale peridot eyes noticing the way that the Italian man’s traveled across those stark white walls and likely noticing the lack of any truly personal items. She was content to let him draw his own conclusion of what he might try and read from the immaculacy of her home, whether he thought her to be a clean freak or perhaps trying to reach an assumption on her persona, like he was trying to get an idea of what flickered through Vitani’s mind, what she might really be like. And he would never know, not unless she so decided to give him the truth. When they reach the bar, she can feel his gaze returning to her womanly features as she reaches for that cabinet below, hardly trying to hide the coy smile encouraged to those pink lips from the satisfaction that his male tendencies proved to be very much intact. Pouring that amber liquor into those fine crystal glasses, she closes that small distance between them, her steps graceful as she wears that sultry smile as he extends that second glass to him. His accented tones reach out in thanks as they clink those glasses together lightly, the fae woman regarding him for a moment before taking a drink of that delectable smoothness.”Prego (You’re welcome)”, she response easily to that proper gesture. She lifts a brow at him as he boldly steps closer, that sultry smile growing a touch as he did. My, he’s much bolder in private quarters it seems, she thought to herself in intrigue as he steals a mouthful of Bastille. It was her turn to move that metaphorical chess piece now, and so before she moves to retrieve the rest of the bottle, fully intending on enjoying tonight for what it was worth, she reaches a soft hand out to explore the sinew of his chest, slipping her hand beneath the leather material of his unzipped jackey, pale peridot eyes admiring his toned frame as she ushers a satisfied “mmm” before looking back up to Ludovino beneath those dark lashes. Yes, she was certainly hoping she’d been right in her assessment of this man she would be sharing tonight with.

Seating herself with poise on the white leather couch, he is quick to follow her as she beckons him over."Poco è proibito per il giusto prezzo (Little is forbidden for the right price)", she purrs in reply, lyrics like milk and honey as his leg brushes against her own, keeping that impish smile playing upon those plush lips of the fae woman. He answers her idle question, a soft chuckle tumbling easily over her tongue as she lifts that glass to her mouth and downs the rest of the Bastille, reaching for the bottle and filling it once again with the same generous amount of liquor as her delicately pointed ears take in his next words, turning to watch as he pauses to brush his hand against his chin before continuing on.”It certainly can. But tonight, I have you to keep me company”, she whispers temptingly to him.”Although, I do find myself in search of security detail for precautions, which I left behind in Bora Bora. You wouldn’t happen to know of any strong, willing men looking for such a position would you?”, she teases him as she offers the bottle to Ludovino. Yes, he would do quite nicely, Vitani hardly concerned with how he might act after tonight. It would be strictly business after tonight.. Well, with incentive as well as payment of course. Slow movement catches those pale peridot eyes, and it is at that same time that the Italian man feels the weight of the twenty-seven foot ivory reticulated python as she curls around his leg, forked tongue flicking out as the serpent to lift its head, watching him intently through soulless black eyes before he moves to uncoil the currently docile creature, accented words suggesting his surprise as a rich chuckle falls from him. When he releases the snake, it slithers towards the warmth of the fire pit and he questions her. She is silent for a moment as she takes another drink from her glass.”Beauty, silence, and strength. And in some cultures, they are known as a symbol of immortality”, she answers casually as she watches the serpent laying there in that eerie silence. There were many other things about the reptile she allowed to roam freely around the mansion as a sort of guard dog – she simply couldn’t stand dogs or cats – that as Ludovino was likely to notice matched much of the interior, naturally, but she hardly felt inclined to discuss the small handful of other traits she was mildly fascinated by. Not when she had other intentions for herself and the Italian man.

He shifts there beside her, draping an arm over her shoulder, the fae woman giving him that sultry smile once more as she shifts farther into his side, her own pressing into him, finding herself reveling in his warmth much like how Raja lay there coiled loosely beside the searing stone. It had been a fair number of days since last she had found herself in the company of a man. Last time, it had been on that beachfront estate, but Vitani hardly cared to remember the man who’d stolen her sheets that night. She never dwelled on those fleeting affairs, and even those less fleeting chapters were hardly something she would revisit. Not when she had new playthings sparking her interest. Not when she had Ludovino. Tilting her head so that it is resting there on his chest beneath his grizzled chin, pale green eyes flicker to the stars for a moment, simply to muse the man.”It is very beautiful”, she answers in an almost soft and wistful tone, though her thoughts were far from enjoying the stargazing. Taking yet another drink from that fine crystal, she rests it in her lap to place her free hand on Ludovino’s thigh, slender fingers brushing lightly along the length from his knee and towards his groin ever so slowly, almost contemplatively in silence for a few moments. She shivers gently then against the chill of that passing breeze that stirred the flickering flames of the firepit, her peering up at him from beneath those thick lashes once more.”It’s getting rather cold tonight. Perhaps we should move this little party inside?”, she asks in silken lyrics, that coy smile toying across her lips as she continues to stroke his thigh, daring to venture just a little closer to that more… sensitive of places, peridot gaze glittering with all that she didn’t need to say for him to understand just what she meant, the warmth of that whiskey only just coloring her cheeks a little more against the cold.
