Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

That soft chuckle that reverberated within the fae King’s throat brought a warm simper to the vampire’s lips. He was almost reluctant to stop his assault upon his fiance, the man altogether keen to relish in those sweet moments with Dorian before he was forced to leave his lover in preparation for today’s events. His dark blue eyes met the silver of Dorian’s own as the Italian finally shifted to face him. Even Sebastian could hardly deny his simple adoration of moments such as this, times when they were allowed to simply exist alone with one another. Far too often the King was dragged away from him to see to the affairs of his country, even if Sebastian accepted such a thing without complaint. It simply left him to treasure those mornings and late evenings all the more, even as he questioned after whether or not Dorian knew what today was. That feigned consideration upon his lover’s part cause a grin to settle upon his features, the vampire’s eyes rolled in remembrance of that very similar answer he had offered the King but mere months ago. “Are you sure? I thought it was Saturday.” He retorted in jest. After all, there was not a doubt within his own mind that Dorian knew exactly what the significance of today was.

His head tilted ever so slightly into that genteel touch of Dorian’s fingers running along his jawline. His lips all too eagerly met the Monarch’s own in a kiss that was far too fleeting for his own preference, sweet though it was. He was almost saddened to see the beginning of that wedding preparation, if only for the simple fact that the man would be forced to spend the entirety of his ‘morning’ away from his fiance. Already, he knew well that Matteo and his own faux family would see fit to ensure that the pair were awake soon in order to ensure that flurry of a day begun on time. He had hardly anticipated the reaction he received from Dorian at the very mention of his father, the Italian suddenly terribly amused as he was informed of the elder Frenchman’s own excitement for the day. Several could hardly help the way his eyebrows rose in clear surprise. He hadn’t excepted even Matteo to look forward to their wedding. After all, for all the fae’s eternally good-natured appearance, he had yet to truly discern whether or not his father-in-law actually liked him. “Do you think so?” Sebastian’s inquired, clearly contemplative of that new knowledge.

Such considerations, however, hardly lingered long upon the vampire’s thoughts as Dorian’s fingers skated across his chest, moving ever so tauntingly lower down his physique. He knew, near instantly, the sort of thoughts that so lingered upon the fae King’s mind and yet, they were both near forced to abstain from such desires. At least, for now. Tonight, when they were finally allowed to return to that bedroom from the festivities, Sebastian had every intention of ensuring that marriage was properly consummated. “Tonight, Ma Biche.” He promised softly. That soft kiss on his lips brought a soft simper to his features as his lips tenderly met Dorian’s own. It was, perhaps, only the mention of finding clothes that brought a near scowl to his features. “As if Vhalla wasn’t bad enough.” He grumbled, following his lover as the man left the warmth of those blankets. He trailed after his lover towards that wardrobe, snatching from the depths of those clothes something that was as equally as casual as Dorian’s own preference. That graphic tee settled upon his broad shoulders before he pulled a pair of athletic pants upon his hips.

That sudden sound of his name upon Dorian’s lips drew the vampire’s attention towards his lover near immediately. His eyebrows furrowed as he moved to close the distance between himself and the King, those dark blue eyes shifted towards the view outside of that window Dorian stood before. “Bloody Hell…” Those English words were muttered softly from his lips at the simple sight of the sheer number of people that had already begun to fill the streets of Naples. The road was already near practically unusable with the number that so pressed upon the gates of that palace, waving those Italian flags. He was hardly aware, in that moment, as Dorian’s fingers intertwined with the vampire’s own. His gaze followed Dorian’s fingers towards the fence at the mention of those English flags and yet, among that sea of people, there was indeed the Union Jack flying equally as proudly. That soft squeeze of Dorian’s fingers drew Sebastian’s attention, his blue eyes shifted towards his lover at that soft inquiry as to how he was feeling. “I’m fine.” He was quick to reassure his lover, even if the sheer weight of that responsibility he was about to undergo certainly had not gone unrealized. Still, he was certain that Dorian was worth all of this. He had fallen hard for the Italian Monarch and now the amount of overwhelming population was hardly going to deter him.

That sudden sound of the door opening behind that caused Sebastian’s attention to turn away from that window, the vampire hardly surprised to see Matteo and Giles trailing into that very room. His gaze trailed over the trio, eyeing those fine, immaculate suits. They were quite near dressed to impress - already. He had already anticipated the fae King’s disappearance, that soft kiss upon his cheek prompted a small simper upon his features as the man’s head bobbed ever so slightly. “I’ll see you there.” He offered in return as the vampire released Dorian’s hand. That sudden utterance from the Frenchman at waiting to fully have one another, however, brought a small smirk to his features, one he was almost unable to deny at the sheer thought of all those things his Catholic faith certainly would have disapproved of. He was hardly aware of the fashion in which Dorian so paled, at least, until Matteo’s laughter filled that room in a near teasing fashion. His head shook ever so slightly as his lover dashed after his father, that small pause and the warm grin he was given just before Dorian’s disappearance was one the vampire eagerly returned before he flicked his wrist as if clearly encouraging Dorian onwards.

It was only once that bedroom door closed behind the fae that Sebastian's attention turned towards his own family. “I suppose we better start, hm?” He inquired with an impish grin upon his features. The vampire trailed after the duo as they led him towards his own designated room for those preparations. That wedding, after all, demanded a sort of perfection even from the vampire. It was only once he was properly bathed and sufficiently fed that Charles and Giles helped him into that meticulously pressed suit. Those black pants were perfectly tailored to the vampire’s form, secured around his waist with a nondescript belt. That starch white button down shirt rested against his fit figure, the vampire’s keen gaze settled upon his form in the full-length mirror before him as Charles saw to that ebony tie around his neck. He reached up to flatten that collar around his neck before Giles assisted in that black vest. The material was covered with small, darker flourishes, the pattern near reminiscent of his own Victorian-era lined with a black satin trim and small ebony buttons. He slid that black dress jacket onto his frame, the inner edges of it mirrored that vest with the same small damask pattern. It was only once that golden-hued crown was placed upon his brunette locks that the vampire’s wedding ensemble was complete. His fingers ran one last time over the edges of that outfit as if ensuring every line was perfect before he glanced up for approval towards the two manservants that were, arguably, the closest figures in his life beyond the Monarch. Those grins upon Charles and Giles features were surely all he needed in an answer to that unspoken question. Sebastian could hardly help the way his own features contorted to a warm simper. It was time.

That wedding planner knocked upon his own suite but a moment later, announcing that hour quite in the same fashion. He nodded ever so slightly as she gave him the final look over before ushering the vampire towards the entrance of that palace. He was supposed to arrive at that Basilica first, the vampire near forced to face that very crowd without his lover. Sebastian was wholly taken back by the roar of that crowd the moment those palace doors opened. The Englishman slipped into that vehicle, his now bright blue eyes turned with awe to those crowds as that car slipped forward and into that pathway that had been cleared just for that very procession that had begun just before his own presence. The crowd had near tripled since he had last glanced out of that windows hours ago. The number alone was vastly more than Sebastian had even considered in his wildest imagination, even so, he did his best to present that crowd with a warm simper and the occasional wave. Sebastian was almost thankful for the sight of that near glowing Basilica. The church was near filled with their wedding guests, many of those faces altogether familiar to the Englishman. It was his duty, he knew well, to greet some of those more….influential members of their guests - such as the royal members of other countries that had made the trek here, much less the Pope whilst he so awaited Dorian’s own designated time for arrival.
