    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

Tetradore had truly never held any real stock to those religious beliefs. Although his family had certainly celebrated their heritage in his youth, any further inclinations the man had towards such deities had been all but obliterated in the wake of that vampire's destruction of his home, his family, and himself. Now, however, in his perfectly inebriated state, this assurance that he had somehow died seemed perfectly logical. His eyebrows furrowed as he contemplated that notion his companion so offered him and yet, other than the soft, "Hmmm." upon his lips, Tetrdaore offered his best friend but a vague shrug of his shoulders in response. Somehow - it didn't seem worth it to fret over it too much. After all, if he was in hell, it wasn't like there was an escape from such a fate anyways. Rather, his attention quickly deviated from such considerations to stare with far too much intensity at the mirrors that so surrounded them, losing his companion in the process. His efforts to re-find the boy with that name calling game had all but failed Truly, though, that separation that had suddenly existed between them was all too easy to fix once he had Tobias within his view, regardless of the near rows of mirrors that existed between them. Teleportation did have it's perks, after all.

Unfortunately for his companion, with his chemically induced state of delirium, his aim was not entirely onspot, the man appearing above his companion rather than beside him as Tetradore had so initially planned and yet, he hardly bothered to fight as gravity took ahold of his form, sending him crashing into the resting figure of his closest companion. The boy's struggles to free himself from the man only served to prompt a simper across his features as he insisted that, really, the boy could use a bit of squishing every now and then, the man entirely oblivious that suggesting so would only further influence the boy's behavior at a later point in time. "Good, you better." He stated simply, that grin still in place as he slowly pulled himself from the ground only to find himself face to face with a clown. His eyes widened ever so slightly by the man's sudden presence and yet, though he found the idea of eating the man to be amusing, he was still not far enough gone to fail to recognize the man as the human he was, even beneath all that white and brightly colored makeup.

That loud roar that left his companion's lips after his own entirely startled the were-King, his gaze immediately shifted towards his companion. A chuckle bubbled to his lips at that near shout, the man wholly willing to admit his defeat. "All right, all right, I think he get's it Tobias." He uttered before a far better idea filled in mind. After all, they were hungry and donuts, he decided, sounded absolutely heavenly. That shake of his companion's head that he'd never before brought a soft gasp of disbelief from his lips, the man entirely assured that the fact Tobias was ignorant of this was entirely awful. "We're totally going to get donuts now." He stated quite firmly, meeting that enthusiastic nod with a grin of his own. He followed the clown out of that labyrinth of mirrors, the dressed up man was clearly quite relieved to see them gone, and yet, Tetradore scarcely cared, far more interested in following his nose to those bready treats. Thankfully, his companion's ability to so find whatever he sought for proved to be particularly fruitful, the man nearly beelining towards those donuts and yet, Tetradore hardly expected to actually find the delectable treats here in the carnival! "Ooooo…." He uttered softly as his companion so rushed towards that silver trailer, content to near bang on those walls with cries for donuts.

For a long moment, Tetradore merely stood there. His emerald eyes stared at his best friend with a stupid grin upon his face, as if he simply couldn't handle the whole situation at all. It took him a moment to realize that, in order to receive those breaded treats, he actually had to do something - but his limbs felt more like molasses as he ever so slowly moved around that trailer and towards the front. It took him far too long then it should have to decide just how many he wanted, the man eventually giving in to get a whole dozen - all the while, Tobias wailing and pounding accompanied his order. He watched as the chef behind the counter began to scream at the wall, the man unable to help that smirk upon his features. Eventually, however, the man succeeded in acquiring a whole bag of freshly made powdered donuts. The smell alone was near intoxicating. He reached into that paper bag, pulling one out as he made his way around the back of the trailer, the man near shoving one in Tobias' face. The treat was quickly snatched from his fingers, that gleeful 'yay' was somehow altogether satisfying. Almost as good as the donuts themselves would be. The man plucked another from that bag, following his companion away from the carnival and towards that open field.

He began to greedily enjoy his own donut as he walked, entirely oblivious to his companion's sudden crouch within that long grass. In that moment, the only thing that mattered to him was the emptiness before him and the confectionary breakfast goodie in his hand. He had only just taken another bite from it before Tobias' form went near launching past him - hardly even coming near his figure. He watched as the man went tumbling into that grass in a very ungraceful fashion, the man's failed efforts to gather himself only made the situation all the more worst. However, it was that near innocent, suspicious way in which Tobias regarded him that finally pushed him over the edge. He doubled over in laughter, still clutching onto that bag and that remaining donut before, in his fit of giggles, the man became unbalanced, near falling into that grass with that joyous chuckling on his lips. It took him a moment longer before he could gather himself enough to thrust that white, greasy bag in the air over those long blades of grass. "I've got more!" He announced between his laughter, knowing well that Tobias would find him and those sweet treats.
