    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

That rather abrupt deadpan look to the young woman's facial features drew the were-King's attention, his emerald eyes settled upon her with one eyebrow cocked upwards in an almost dubious fashion. "Oh?" He inquired at her insistence that she had already found someone. He hardly anticipated those names that fell from her lips and yet, was that answer not exactly what he had come, in this short time, to associate with Calliel herself? Tetradore could hardly help the fashion at which he rolled his eyes, his head shaking ever so slightly. "You have a very adventurous sex life with four men." He commented in that same sober voice, even if he was teasing her. That topic of her diet, however, wholly interested that man far more in her lack of a love life. He was baffled that meat had been stolen from her and yet, it only left him considering what she was capable of consuming, much less how awful life must be to be robbed of that protein source. Tetradore was certain that he himself would not be able to survive such a life, that look of horror upon his features certainly showing his own thoughts as he inquired after those animal by products. He could hardly help that soft sound of relief that left his lips at her response that she was able to have that milk and cheese. "Thank God, without those too, life isn't worth living." He informed her, altogether sure of that fact.

That rather delectable liquor upon his tongue and in his glass surely contributed to the man's decision to even so much as consider inviting her to his own pack. After all, she was the spawn of the 'enemy', sort of. But he also saw the loneliness inside her, regardless of why she had left her maker in the first place. Surely, he would at least be happy that she found a place she might find some sort of contentment with, right? Then again, maybe it was best not to dwell upon what Frost would think, it wasn't as if he'd ever figured out the man's thought process before. Not like he'd ever had a conversation with the ivory steed either. Even so, Tetradore still found himself voicing that invitation all the same, unperturbed by the silence that it was met with. It seemed to take her a moment to gather her thoughts and yet, that rejection he was offered, however, hardly provoked him in any fashion. His shoulder shrugged ever so slightly with a sort of indifference, that glass in his hands rose to his lips as he sipped on that smooth liquor. Dear God this was good.

His gaze flickered back towards her as she stopped stirring that icing only to tilt the bowl for him to take a look at it. It certainly looked rather smooth, his finger reached out to taste it only to be interrupted by the ringing of that stove and the announcement that the cake was finished. Even so, Tetradore shoved a single finger into the icing, picking up a glob before he slid himself off the counter to fetch that cake. Tetradore put his finger in his mouth, tasting that rich chocolate whilst he moved to the stove, turning those various knobs to silence the alarm and turn off the heat. "It tastes good, Calliel." He commented over his shoulder of the icing, reaching into that stove with one gloved hand to pull out that cake. He was oblivious of the girl's topping off of their glasses, the were-King instead busying himself with finding a toothpick to slide into the center of the cake in a fashion he'd seen Raven do dozens of times to tell if it was done. That splinter of wood came out clean with flecks of baked chocolate here and there. It looked perfect. Hell, it smelled perfect.

That small touch upon his shoulder drew his gaze from that cake, that filled glass almost surprised him and yet, hadn't she said something about a drinking game? He took that whiskey from her, placing it on the counter before he slid up onto that countertop beside her. "Never have I ever?" Tetradore repeated with an almost questioning tone. That explanation of that game caused his eyebrows to raise and yet Tetradore was willing enough. He raised that glass to his lips, taking a gulp of that liquor only to offer her a contemplative look. "You know you're probably going to be wasted by the end of this." He commented, entirely certain that her life had consisted of far more than his had. After all, there was only so much that he had done when most of his world had been a veritable cage or settled at the feet of that vampire queen. Still, if she wanted to play, he had no reason to dissuade her. "Never have I ever…." He started, following that example she had given him. "....ridden a rollercoaster." Why such a thought had occurred to him remained to be seen and yet, those exhilarating rides were the first thought he'd had.
