    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

The were-King was entirely oblivious to how serious the young woman took her newfound quest to share with him the wonders of those theme parks and roller coaster rides. While Tetradore had accepted that invitation to one day see those rides with her, he hadn't realized how very serious she was about such an offer. It was, however, perhaps thankful for the late hour, their stomachs certainly not capable of handling those rapid speeds and abrupt turns. Rather, his own thoughts were focused upon his latest 'never have I ever', his fingers gingerly reaching up to brush across the scruff on his jawline. He hardly anticipate Calliel's own touch and yet, she was quick to withdraw at that rather short story of what had happened to cause that break in his jaw bone in the first place. He watched as Calliel shook her head in disagreement, inquiring after the benevolence of that undead race. It would have been so easy for the man to condemn the whole species. After all, he had certainly endured enough at the touch of their hands and yet….he simply couldn't. Tetradore's head shook ever so slightly. "No, they arn't all bad." He responded, attempting to reassure the woman. "Do you know the gastropub in the East side? Red on the Water? A vampire owns it. She's the nicest woman you'd ever meet though." He could hardly help the small twitch at the corner of his lips at even the mention of Isolt.

Even despite his fondness for the redhead, Tetradore hardly spoke further of her, easily continuing that game with that mention of his own lack of formal education, followed by drinking at that admittance that betting was something he certainly was guilty of. It was his latest 'never done' that seemed to equally catch the woman beside him off guard and yet, her incredulousness only served to bring a chuckle to his lips. "No, I don't go with her but she doesn't buy the food for the WHOLE cafe, or cook for everyone. I mean, we do have a team of chefs come in on the weekdays to provide service for the Ark's patrons, should they want to eat. They deal with most of the food ordering, she only cooks for myself and her mate." He shrugged, the man hardly leaving the whole food preparation of the entire Ark to poor Raven. He certainly wasn't that cruel. His emerald eyes shifted to the young woman at his side, that soft sigh on her lips caused his eyebrows to furrow and yet, he said nothing of it. Rather, Tetradore merely waited as Calliel mulled over her next move in that 'game', already prepared to drink. After all, it wasn't as if either had chosen things the other had never done as well thus far.

Unfortunately for him, the man never heard the next thing upon her never done list, the buzzing sound of that timer going off right in the middle of her sentence. His attention darted towards that cake, that dessert far more intriguing to him then their game. Tetradore slid off of that countertop, entirely content to follow the woman towards that bowl of icing. He could feel the liquor racing through his system, lowing those inhibitions just enough to put him far more at ease then he so often was. Even so, icing was, perhaps, the only thing he cared of. He reached for his own spatula, stabbing it into the icing only to pick up a small amount. His finger reached out to touch the edge, getting a large glop on his finger as he placed the rest of that icing on the top of the cake in the same fashion Calliel had done. Tetradore was entirely content to mimic her movements, all the while licking that chocolate off of his finger. Apparently, he was far too impatient to wait even for that cake to properly receive it's icing bath. "Can we eat it now?" He inquired, only after his second glob of icing on that cake. After all, it looked fairly….sugary and this was starting to reach torture levels here.
