    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Although she was quite a fragile demure young woman, deep down there was a strong ember that was growing with each passing day. All those years of abusive and terror nearly destroyed her, but somehow there was a small part of her that harden, giving her the chance to endure. Self-confidence did exist within her, but it was hidden underneath those deep layers of self-doubt and hopelessness. The young woman truly believing that she was absolutely useless. Thankfully though there was some small part of her that doubted those beliefs. Raven was nothing more than a hollowed being, barely a shadow of what she could have been...of what she should have been. If the Fates allowed it she would have probably been quite a strong woman. With that firm morality belief, mixed in with her clever wit, she would have grown to become some far more than what she currently was. If only she had grown in a supportive environment. It was a shame, but luckily within her new environment she was learning what she should have learned all those years ago. There was a part of her that had been dormant for far too long. The two Weres that should before her, and her mate, issuing a challenge was enough to provoke her in taking action, the primal side of her quivering with anticipation.

She could feel the frustration within her mate. It was easy to absorb the excitement within the crowd. Her adrenaline was pumping fast, being fused by the ever growing need to immerse herself within uncontrolled chaos. It was natural for her to want to be aggressive. Suppressing that side of herself was extremely unhealthy, and tonight she was no longer interested in keeping that need sedated. This was a safe setting. Well, sort of. Both challenging Weres needed to learn a lesson and she was willing to teach them the hard way. Never before did she actually belong to someone, let alone, feel like she was wanted. Tobias was her mate. Tobias belonged to her. Growing up unwanted and unattached to others, it was natural for her to form some sort of possessive desire upon him. Not to mention she was aware of the amount of possessive tendencies he had upon her and that seemed to only grow. He had done nothing wrong. If he did then he would be receiving a lecture, but he didn’t deserve that. She was willing to partake within the ring, willing to risk her own health in order to show not only did she support her mate, but that the other Weres within the Ark needed to learn that there were just some things that would not be tolerated. His will to protect her only increased her desire to protect him as well.

Just the sound of the other she-wolf whimpering encouraged Raven to continue her attack. As she held the paw tighter in her jaws she yanked her dial back and forth, bringing to girl more agony in her front right paw down her foreleg. Pleased with herself she let go believing that this simple attack would be enough to encourage the girl to go down. Now, it was rude of her to think females were weaker than men, and yet she assumed her opponent wasn’t one that was used to pain. Raven was familiar with pain and knew how to manage it, and deal with it. For a moment she backed away waiting for some sort of sign that the other would give up, so that she could put her focus on the moose. While the she-wolf attempted to get up and leap at her chest, Raven leapt to the side to dodge it. As she turned to attempt to leap towards her flank, she was surprised to see Tobias catching the poor girl’s back leg. Eagerly she approached them, aggression and instincts kicking in, demanding that she join in on the attack, forgetting about the bull moose momentarily. Just as she was about to attack the she-wolf, out of the corner of her eye she noticed the moose charging at her. Scrambling to get away she ran towards the opposite side of the ring, feeling the side of his horns press into her side, the girl losing her balance and falling to the floor.

Slowly she got up, shaking herself off, feeling pain in her side, but not feeling any blood. Luckily she was just swiped by the side of his horns, and not punctured. Seeing the leopard get crushed by the horns she released a savage snarl, stalking towards the massive creature. As the spotted feline catapulted himself onto the moose’s back she was about to launch herself to the moose’ haunches when she noticed the lupine attempting to bite her mate’s tail. Annoyed she circled around, running as best as she could, launching herself onto the other she-wolf, tumbling to the ground. As soon as they stopped rolling upon the ground, Raven had managed to be on top. Forcefully she pressed her front paws onto the lupine’s chest, jaws parted with her teeth bared as a low growl rumbled in her chest. As her opponent snapped her muzzle into her foreleg, Raven released a sharp yelp mixed with a snarl. With her opponent focused on her leg, she lowered her head, sinking her teeth into her neck, viciously tearing into it. She could feel the other’s jaw release her arm, but she continued her assault. Her aim wasn’t to kill, but she did want to inflict as much damage as she possibly could to get the wolf to stay down. With the sounds of the cries of pain filling her ears, Raven didn’t stop until she heard the woman’s plea for her to stop. With a bloodied muzzle she snarled at the girl, slowly getting off her, pleased to see how she tucked her tail between her legs. With her mate still managing to stay atop the moose, she lifted her leg, not wanting to put pressure on it. Limping towards the duo she tried to get as close as she could without being kicked or trampled.
