    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

The were-panther's death was a decidedly touchy topic for the man. He despised that simple fact that he'd been weaker then Frost in that fateful moment. The creature of prey had managed to best him in every fashion at every corner in a way he certainly should not have been capable of. He, the veritable King of the jungle, had been brought down by a creature his kind ate. Even so, he was entirely inclined to warp that defeat into something else entirely, the man wholly attempting to plant that very idea with that malicious woman whom had held him captive for so long that he had found someone who could defeat even her. That near dismissive wave he was given made his eyebrows furrow, his lips pressing together in that hard line and yet, even Tetradore hardly had time to react to that hand that so flew at his face. That slap almost felt as if it resonated within him, his jaw certainly aching at that simple gesture. He'd forgotten how incredibly strong her species was. It was with a hint of distaste that his fingers rose to gingerly massage at that aching jaw line and yet, those emerald eyes never once left her stalking frame.

Those words that left her lips only furthered that frown upon his features. He failed to believe his mistress was entirely absent of fear. There had to be something that might set her on edge, some way in which he might be capable of disrupting whatever promise she held after her death. In truth, he'd never considered what fail safe's she might have in place to so destroy him from beyond the grave and yet, Tetradore was wholly assured that if he could ensure their mutual destruction, it would entirely be worth it. In fact, the only thing that might cause him to pause was that notion that she might go after those around him. Then again, hadn't she always? It was this very reason that Tetradore had so often made an effort to keep himself isolated. Even now, the man truly allowed few close beyond those thick walls of apathy. It was a habit that had existed within him for so long that he'd hardly even considered it now. "I think the cost is worth your death." He commented back in an entirely bitter fashion. Though, internally, his resolve had wavered at the mention of those others, he knew far better than to let her see that, not yet. Everytime she knew she'd gotten through those thick walls, she only seemed to hit that place time and time and time again.

His emerald eyes steeled as he met the bright blue irises of Risque's. Her hand reached out to him, her touch near gentle as her fingers near caressed that very place that she'd earlier slapped. That closeness between them had a fashion of sending his hair standing on edge and yet, he was hardly willing to give into her. She seemed to so easily detect that change within him. Over the past year of her absence, the man had grown into not only his abilities but also that position of Alpha that he had always been destined to take. Without her in his life, that one captive creature had grown into something else entirely, that defiance within him, that quiet strength was hardly as willing to be broken as it once had. He hardly seemed to balk that fury he could so see bubbling beneath that surface of that chilled skin. He knew what she was capable of and yet, even so, he so evenly met it with a head on resilience. In fact, Tetradore was unwilling to believe he was incapable of wholly escaping her clutches. He simply did not have the choice to remain here under her grasp for an eternity and yet, the were-King kept those few trump cards he held close to his chest. Rather, he willingly offered her that necklace back, that pheonix upon his chest somehow far more weighty now that he knew who it was from.

Her insistence that he kept it for 'insurance' purposes had a way of creating a sort of discontent within the stoic man and yet, he hardly offered her even a word. His gaze fluttered back towards her as her nail suddenly pressed against that caramel flesh, his body near flinched as her nail broke his flesh, that blood near trickling down his cheekbones as she withdrew her finger. He watched the way in which so near licked the blood from her fingers, the man well aware that he was capable being tantalizing to his very mistress, not that he ever had any desire of being so. "Did you miss the way I taste?" He inquired, one eyebrow raising in an almost challenging fashion and yet, the were-King hardly had a moment to relish the way in which he could so toy with the woman before her ability so oppressively crashed against him. His breath inhaled sharply as his knees momentarily wavered and yet, that rich sound of her voice so nearly coaxed to life the were-King's urge to fight her.

For several long moments, nothing at all happened as Tetradore so keenly fought against that woman's willpower. He doubted his ability to truly beat her in this war and yet, Tetradore had every intention to try all the same. He could feel his knees starting to bend against his will and slowly, they gave way, the were falling with a sort of slow grace to the floor before her. Those vibrant green eyes slowly turned up towards her, his chin tilted in such a fashion to stare up at the woman in that same position he had so often been resorted to eying her. "You may be able to force my body to submit to you...but that it all of me you will ever get." He declared, his voice low and threatening as if that simple sentence was a near promise to her. Though those souls on the outside that he cared for, that depended upon him, had become his weakness - in a way, they too had become his strength. For them, he would not waver. Not even to the very woman that haunted his nightmares.
