    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

Be careful when wandering this district at night for many groups meet within those dark, dilapidated buildings. There are also whispers of hard to obtain goods being sold behind those closed doors but you have to know who's who to get an in!

I can't help this awful energy
Goddamn right, you should be scared of me

Tetradore had planned this entire trip for one singular reason. It was hardly the fishing or the meadows available to them. It wasn’t even really the time alone that he sought after, even though the were-King knew well that such was what Raven surely desired of him after his resurrection. He could hardly fault her, of course. She had taken his return from death harder then he had ever anticipated anyone might. He suspected, truly, that she had enjoyed the day for that simple fact alone. After all, though the Alpha was nothing short of dutiful to his pack, he had a habit of not only being distant but also not sparing them much time on a one-on-one basis. Still, with the sun setting and the moon slowly drifting into the sky, it was finally time for Tetradore to show her the real reason he had brought her to that National Park in the first place. He led her through those grassy fields, entirely content to leave behind the cool river and roaming wildlife for the tall trees of the forests. That timberland somehow felt different than the one that surrounded their own metropolis, it somehow felt more…natural. He led her further into the very depths of that foreign territory, those Alpha senses altogether aware of that moment they finally crossed into land that belong to someone else.

His emerald eyes turned back towards the lupine, near ignoring that inquisitive glimpse upon her features as he inquired if she was ready. He settled upon his haunches, his own head rose to the moon in a position all too familiar to her kind before his jaws parted and that loud roar echoed within the stillness of the night. His ears upon his head perked upwards as the feline fell silent to merely listen, the man altogether certain of where he was. Surely, they would answer. Thankfully, he hardly had to wait long before the first howl echoed in the distance in response. Soon enough, others too picked up the call, the very sound near seemed to reverberate in the forest just as much as his own had. A small, smug glimpse crossed his features as her head abruptly turned to face him and yet, the man hardly seemed concerned in the slightest of that territorial sound. Why should he be? The jungle cat was far more than that natural wolf pack. He knew why they were howling and yet - it simply didn’t matter the why quite so much for his intent.

Those words he offered her were wholly teasing in nature as he encourage the woman to respond. He might not be capable of making those sounds, much less teaching her as a proper Alpha could and yet…this, this was the one thing he could give her - the best thing he could give her. Those emerald eyes watched her as she settled beside him, her own head tilted backwards and yet, she hardly seemed to even echo a sound. He watched her try again and again and yet, it seemed the girl was quite simply willing to give up. Frankly, he suspected it had little to do with her physical ability. A small shrug crossed his shoulders as his gaze turned back towards the sky. “Can’t. I don’t have the vocal cords for howling - you do.” He responded in an entirely nonchalant fashion. Tetradore had hoped that…perhaps she finally felt as if she belonged with their own pack enough to be able to get over whatever emotional or mental trauma stopped such a sound from leaving her lips. He was wrong - or maybe she truly needed one of her own kind to feel that sense of ‘family’. His head cocked to the side in consideration and yet, if she was embarrassed he hardly saw any reason to push her further or taint what he was sure had been a decent enough sort of day. “Maybe next time, hm? For tonight, let’s go home.”
