    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

one, two, princes kneel before you (Raven) On July 31, 2017 at 2:06 AM by Tobias

It was almost too simple within those earlier rounds. Those opponents to easy, to inexperienced and more often than not- utterly to terrified to truly fight that lanky leopard whom prowled throughout those rings with his mate at his side. That golden cat had shifted back, allowing his Birdie to do most of that fighting and yet it was hardly laziness on the boys part, more so, Tobias was simply assured off her own skill, the Leopard pacing about that ring with those golden eyes fixated upon those opponents and too- continuing to watch that wolf as she fought. He was aware of each of her movements and each of those movements of their opponents in turn, Tobias simply….letting her take that lead, that animalistic part of him almost desiring that confidence from her as he merely watched over her as he was prone to do. The often volatile Leopard stepping in only when one opponent or another was tossed in his direction to dispatch, that crowd entirely taken with the wolf tonight and applauding her every move. It was a distinctly….feline instinct perhaps, that so saw the boy watching over his mate tonight, lingering close and yet allowing her to engage those opponents first the way an older cat might do with a kitten. He enjoyed watching her fight, he enjoyed seeing that confidence within her, a part of him utterly drawn to it.

Those taut muscles within his spotted pelt bunched readily, Tobias lunging suddenly forward to catch that ocelot mid-air and send in sprawling to the ground for its attempts to try and sneak up behind the wolf. His own larger frame pressed over it, pinning it down, his teeth bared towards it now as Jackal counted it out and that smaller cat scampered hurriedly out of the ring with its tail tucked in defeat, leaving only that otter for Raven to readily dispatch. That roar of the crowd echoed once more, that mated pair pushed even further up those ranks as a purr echoed within the boys own throat. His head tilted, pressing against the wolfs own in that decidedly feline gesture of affection as his tail lashed about, that adrenaline coursing thickly within his frame as that bell rung, announcing the end of that round of fights and that break between them. A snort of irritation echoed from within him, that boy so loathing to be forced to pause and yet that crowd had already begun to shift towards the bar, his own stomach rumbling as he brushed against his mate once more to lead that way towards the food he was sure he could smell only for Jackal to step into that ring, the little Mexican man halting him then.

Ah, but your mate is bitten by otter. We are not needing infection, no, no. Come Miss Birdie- we fix. Tobias’ own features scowled as much as they were able within that animal form, his gaze lingering upon that food they were surely owed only to turn and follow after his mate and that little Mexican man as he led that way towards that medical room at the back. We don’t need your help, Tobi, off with you, go on, go. Those efforts to dismiss the cat were met with a ready hiss of sorts, Jackal muttering back at him as he gestured for Raven to seat herself on that table as he begun to sort through those series of medicines and potions, setting several out on that table, his hand batting Tobias’ paw out of the way. The boy simply curious of the colours. Not for you! You mix them up and we have problems! No touching, away. To tell Tobias not to touch so rarely went down well, the boy eyeing those bottles as Jackal wandered back to Raven, gesturing for the girl to shift into her human form before he gently reached to clean that bite wound on her hand.

Tobias own gaze remained upon the bottles, one paw batting at one and then the other, several toppling over as Jackal shouted at him once more and hurried back to fix those bottles. Several of them so unfortunately having become mixed in that moment as Jackal moved to right them, the little man scowling for several seconds before abruptly nodding and so holding out one to the werewolf then with the assurance that this was the one she needed. That shout from outside saw the man hurriedly rise once more, assuring them he would be back a moment later as he went to deal with that noise, Tobias own ears laying backward in response to that noise. That lanky Leopard leapt easily up onto that table to rest beside his mate then, his form abruptly shifting, Leopard giving away to man as he rested beside her. The boy oblivious to the consequence of so muddling those medications as he eyed that wound upon his mate.

“Should…I….lick it?”

Licking so fixed everything. Surely.
