    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

“I know some might think if someone believes they possess you that’s bad. But I disagree, I like that feeling...I feel wanted.”

Those words that tumbled out were soft as she admitted as if it were a forbidden secret that was never meant to be told. Her hand would gently squeeze his own, as her blue-grey eyes shifted upwards to meet his amber gaze. Her cheeks flushed a light pink, slightly embarrassed to reveal her thoughts of how she felt about his strong desire to have her as his own. That impish small smile was faint as she shifted her eyes forward. The young woman knew very well just how primal his impulses could be, and she was rather proud of it. Many times the young woman was told through books, movies or TV shows, that a woman shouldn’t be around a possessive male, they were dangerous, and they controlled their female victim. Yet the author or directors never thought once to see what the girl would think? Raven loved the fact that her mate was possessive of her. It meant she had a value. It meant she had worth! For so long she felt insignificant. Yet a strange male with extremely awkward quirks was the first person in the world to see her, for her, to see something that others never saw. Besides, he never forced her to do anything she didn’t want to do. He took care of her, always, both of him. Entering the mall she half-expected to hear the security guard nearby to shout at them, and yet nothing happened to them. Casually she walked beside him as she allowed him to lead her where they were going. She was happy to hear that he agreed with her idea that some of Tetradore’s business partners would not be making it to the wedding. As he talked about his past, she looked up at him with concern in her eyes, listening silently. It was rare for him to mention his past, it was something she wished to know more about, but she understood it was not always going to be possible. Gently she would stand up on her toes as they walked, kissing his cheek gently, as she spoke softly.

“I’m sorry, I guess we both didn’t have a good childhood. My parents were close, at least that’s what I remember. They were Alphas, but when my Mother passed...things changed.”

It was a shame really. The two of them didn’t have the best beginning at their young life. Both had gone on two completely different paths resulting in two different people. They had suffered a lot more so than some, but not so much as other unfortunate souls. They balanced each other out. Helping each other build and grow! Look at how much they accomplished together. He was nothing more than a boy more Intune to his animalistic side hardly concerned about others, disheveled and uncared for. Yet she helped him navigate the world and understand it, aide him in his journey of self-discovery and understanding. While he held onto her hand, breaking away the rigid, hard levels of shells, taking the shattered broken pieces and gluing them together. God or Fate, whoever was responsible for their controlling their destiny managed to do one good thing, bring the two of them together. It didn’t bother the lupine whether or not he believed in God or not. She struggled internally on accepting if there was one. Although she hoped deep down when they passed they would make it to the other side, to that heavenly paradise, but she doubted she would meet him there. Most likely she would be trapped in damnation, to suffer the crimes she had committed, no longer capable being at his side. Yet such thoughts were cast aside, the she-wolf determined to enjoy the rest of her mortal life with him.

Raven couldn’t help but grin to herself as he said family. They were lucky to have each other. They were fortunate to have Tetradore back from the grave. Their family was small, but it would grow. Henry and Regan were a part of it, and their friends were too! Though she couldn’t help, but wonder...did he want more? He already had children, but was that an addition he wished to have with the two of them? They were a family, yes, but families had young ones. It was natural for the two of their animal parts to have the desire that natural need to procreate, to have their own children, to raise and make sure the pack endures once they are gone. They had never spoken about it before, but perhaps that was because he knew what she did, cross-species couldn’t have children. Of course she was wrong, but then no one told her that. She was thinking they could adopt, to help children that had a terrible childhood at the beginning, grow to have a better one. They knew what it was like, they could relate, who else could? Yet before she could ask about that possibility it was moved to the side, as she focused on the now...the wedding. His question about meeting Serafina was answered by a polite melodic chuckle of her own.

“From what I understand, yes you two met, but not in civil terms. He attacked her and she froze him, but I don’t know why he attacked her. But I am hoping they will meet on much better terms, I am sure it will go well. I guess you would include Jackal. You liked the werewolf that let us work in his weapons store and the warlock that owned his own shop, but they left the city for unknown reasons.”

Not only would they have a small wedding, but they would have a small wedding party. Tetradore would make a fantastic best man for her mate. After all he would keep him inline, maybe long enough for her to get down the aisle without his clothes ruined and destroyed. It would be a difficult task, but she was certain that the green-eyed man could pull it off. It was Serafina that would have to help her with her own apprehension. She was not afraid of taking that vow. No never. It was rather the whole...well she was anxious about planning the event and attending it. She was naturally shy and so having the attention on her, on them all the time, was a bit well, terrifying. Serafina would have to keep her calm, calm enough to get her settled before walking down that aisle. The witch was capable of getting her to do her bidding. One eyebrow was raised in question as her fiancé led her into the photography store. As the woman behind the desk made her way towards them, she eyed her carefully, concerned that she knew who her mate was to the mall...hoping they wouldn’t be kicked out. Thankfully though the woman had a kind smile on her face, her gaze shifted to her mate for an explanation. His gesture was quite amazing, actually. Very thoughtful. He kept his promise to her, that one day they would have a photo to share, to have of each other. Her hand would go to stroke the side of his arm gently, as it reached to his hair, pushing some of those long locks out his golden eyes.

“Oh Tobias that is very kind of you. I would love to have photos of us together! You do have some photos in some stores, saying you are banned.”

She whispered that last part for him to hear, her tone jovial of course. Raven wasn’t ashamed by it at all. It’s just what happens sometimes. Her eyes would look over his nice shirt and black pants, he was dressed quite well. Whereas she was wearing her ragged hoodie, hardly something appropriately to wear for a photo shoot together. A bit uncomfortable about it, she looked around the store for a moment, wishfully thinking there was a wardrobe available, and her mind running thinking about what sort of clothes she could get within this mall, especially ones where he would be allowed to step foot in. Leaning into him she murmured softly.

“I...I am not dressed for photos though. You look so very handsome and put together, but I am not.”
