    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

There have been many times when Raven had given the man before her praise. However, there were more times when she silently held her dismay while gently criticizing him. He was quite mischievous and hardly empathetic to whatever he did wrong. It was best she coerce him the right direction. He didn’t respond to yelling, and Raven wasn’t one that wanted to yell. Screaming never solved anything. It didn’t stop her from going feral and it wouldn’t stop Tobias from doing anything wrong. The roll of his golden eyes after her polite praise was met with a soft giggle. Of course his sane side didn’t need the praise, but it was a habit the curly-haired woman was used to doing. Finding the clothes he had shown her on the phone wouldn’t be a problem. Most shops contained a variety amount of clothes. As she looked over to just where those clothes were, she noticed as she stole a glance to her mate, he seemed to be looking quite elsewhere. Following his gaze she couldn’t help but grin as his cheeks flared into an unfamiliar hue. So, it was possible that he Leopard was capable of being bashful? The man always held a sense of confidence, no matter what he was doing. That the man was eyeing the lingerie section was not surprising at all. Of course the male would be focused on such things. Gently taking his hand she led him over to that section and leaving him to do what he wished, while she went to the next section over, to look for the right clothes to wear. Looking amongst the racks she lifted one blouse out from the others, holding it up against her. Thinking this was the one she went instantly still as she felt a pair of arms slide around her waist, as she stumbled into him from his tug, a small smile pulling her lips upwards.

“I thought it would be good too, and you are very affectionate today.”

Public display of affection, even in private, was not something she was used to him doing. The two of them were creatures that knew touch was not always tender, it could be malicious too. The boy she loved was hardly one that showered her with gifts, loved her with tender kisses, and did anything he could to treat her like a Queen. Raven wasn’t a woman that demanded such things from her other half. In fact it wasn’t something she had ever considered it craving in the first place. The she-wolf wanted nothing fancy or outlandish. Rather she craved the simplest thing she had been denied most of her life. The wolf wanted to be loved, and it was something her troublemaking companion was capable of giving her, in any way he could. He was being quite touchy today and Raven actually liked it a lot. It was something she wouldn’t get used to though. His deviant side wasn’t one to do such a thing, and that was okay. Leaning off him she turned around only to discover that wallet in one hand and a large amount of cash in the other. Blue-grey eyes widened in shock as she simply stood their dumbfounded. Since when did he own a wallet and walk around with a bunch of cash? Of course their business was thriving, but she wasn’t aware that Tetradore gave Tobias money. Or even if the man understood currency in the first place. He always seemed to be in trouble, the man prone to the five-finger discount. Taking a step close to him, she spoke in a high-pitched whisper, the woman unable to contain that excitement, shock, and a bit of hurt, at the realization he was hiding this from her.

“You mean to tell me you’ve had a wallet and cash this whole time?! Why would you steal! You don’t have to pay, but after all those times of you stealing...I feel like this is payback.”

Without him paying attention, she snatched the money from his hand, and turned around sharply. She wasn’t angry with him. It wasn’t his fault. It was all quite funny. Raven couldn’t help, but laugh softly, shaking her head. Oh this was absolutely ridiculous. Now whatever sort of adventure they would go on, she would be sure to dig around his pockets for his wallet, so that he would pay for his fair share. Tilting her head for him to follow she led them over to the register area, happily paying for the items and giving them the money that he owned. As they walked out of the mall she slipped her hand into his own, as they continued to walk along back to the studio. That he wished to have her size for her clothes was surprising. The man hardly knew what his own size was for clothes. How he would be able to know what her own size was, might be a bit difficult for him. With a grin she responded kindly as they continued their walk.

“I shall write them...oh...well I’ll tell you, so you’ll know.”

Stopping, she would stand on her tip-toes so she could reach his ear. Gently she whispered her sizes to him, as if it were some sort of secret, and then continued along. Eventually they would make it over to the studio and it was still empty with the woman they had left. Gesturing towards her bag of new clothes she headed towards the bathroom, changing clothes, and leaving her other clothes in the bag. Stepping out, wearing her cerulean blouse, her eyes seemed much brighter, as she threw him a shy smile. Getting her photo taken was not something she was familiar with doing. In fact the only photo she had ever taken was when she was in that navy blue dress at that gala he had taken her to. Her eyes would waver over toward the giddy woman as she began to talk, Raven attempting to pay attention, feeling a bit anxious.
