    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

Already Henry was feeling vulnerable. Already he wanted to be anywhere but here. He didn’t really want to force Sterling to see him in his feline form…to train them both to know one is safe with the other. While Tetradore seemed so sure that it would help, Henry wanted nothing more than to just wave him off and continue living as he did. But he was already seeing the toll this whole mess was taking on his relationship and he was willing to do just about anything to try and be there for Sterling. This was about trying to show Sterling that he wasn’t a monster. More importantly, this was about trying to prove to himself that he wasn’t a monster.

Tetradore seemed not to balk at his idea of having Raven there for support, especially after he explained why he wanted Raven there and what her role would be. He On any normal day, he might offer Sterling to be with one of his own friends or even Malia…but this was far more delicate than just anyone might understand. Raven was the only one who truly understood what it felt like to lose control. She was the only one who could explain what was happening in a way that Sterling might understand. “No offense…but I think I should talk to her. She needs to hear it from me.” He didn’t want to make the other think that Tetradore would always be there to fight his battles for him. This was something he felt as though he should mediate.

Henry was just about to push himself of the desk and go find Raven when Tetradore spoke up, getting his attention with a simple sentence. Eyes looked at his alpha, waiting for the explanation. Oh course his first thought was that he was saying he was lucky that he was attacked. Honestly, Henry was about to come after him. That was not a fight he was willing to let slide. No one ever deserves to be attacked, especially in the manner Henry had done…and especially by one’s lover. No. That should have neverhappened. But before he said anything, he waited…believing that Tetradore had been mistaken in his words.

When the real words came out, he sighed. He didn’t feel like he was a good boyfriend. He felt like Sterling deserved far better than him. “I’m not exactly getting boyfriend of the year award this year…” He had mutilated his boyfriend, abandoned him, and now that they were back together…he couldn’t even make love to him. That was an issue he wasn’t sure he knew how to solve. Seeing those scars didn’t exactly make the mood romantic. Tetradore didn’t need to know those troubles, though. He really needed to see a therapist. Perhaps that would work out better than him trying to bumble around in the dark trying to fix the issues himself.
