    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

It was a favorite pastime of the fae woman’s, searching either those high-end avenues or broken-down boulevards for anything that might just be interesting enough to prove of some use to her one way or another. Being new to this quaint little city, and perhaps even going as far to say that she’d been relatively surprised to come across so many supernaturals in a fairly “small” city – Sacrosanct certainly being a fraction of most every place the Vitani had occupied in her years of life – she hadn’t expected to encounter those of her own race as she had on two occasions. Ah, but after living as long as she has thus far, it was bound to happen eventually, no? The only fae that had existed in Kew were her parents, and perhaps a stray here or there, but then again, her little birthplace wasn’t the heart of London where the few of her kind that did still flit through the mortal world among the common classes might have made their homes, however temporary or permanent. Perhaps there had been more than she’d seen on those up-scale garden parties her mother and father would often attend, but in all honesty, she’d hardly bothered to care about being around her own kind. As a child, she amused herself with the usual antics. Feigning innocence to get baked treats, taunting other little girls and boys that were also dragged to those boring little gatherings that would eventually prove to be much more worth her while when she grew into the stunning creature that she was now. She’d never been the sweet little girl to play games with the other children, happy to be off on her own watching the adults as they interacted. Of course, she could have any toy that she wanted then, being born to two wealthy fae with social status. And oh, she certainly didn’t hesitate to take that fleeting delight in the newest and most exciting things that came and went as all fads did.

Until of course she grew out of those childish wants and desires for a new pony or shiny new necklace to wear. As she grew older, as nature would have it, she was quick to notice that she was able to get the attention of most all the boys her age – some even a little older. Despite her unnatural existence, her body still heeded to those maturing changes, and it was after a time that she took on the curvaceous and very womanly features that soon had practically any man she might desire clawing over others for her favor. Even as an adolescent, she found a great deal of delight in how the boys would fawn over her, some bringing her extra cookies, candy or flowers they picked from the neighbor’s yard. Yes, from a very young age, just when she was truly starting to come into her beauty, Vitani realized something that she enjoyed almost as much as all those expensive and fashionable ensembles that filled her large walk-in closet to the very brim. She discovered that boys were easy to manipulate into giving her things, and while they were almost always items that the fae girl could obtain herself with only a flick of her wrist, it was really the game that she had been after even then. One could easily come up with a few distasteful words about her antics, and one should certainly rest assured that she’d heard the very colorful names that envious females and disregarded males would use as bullets to try and wound her, but it was also around this same time in her life that she came to realize that she simply didn’t care about their thoughts and opinions of her and the pleasure that she took from bending those flimsy wills of the male species. As it would turn out, it was simply how she was. Life was certainly a curious thing, wasn’t it?

Vitani certainly liked what it was that she saw in the fae man. Perhaps if she were more inclined to those of her own race, she might dare to consider the man attractive. She wasn’t interested in that sort of play this morning, though. It was far too early for her to hold such interests. No, this was more along the lines of… a business trip. After all, one of those more aggravating aftereffects of those almost nomadic tendencies of the fae woman was that almost tedious task of repairing her affiliates of various brands. Exactly what piece it was that she might find the man before her most befitting of, she wasn’t quite sure, but anyone with eyes could see that he was far from lacking in the department of brawns. And she quite liked for her men to be capable. Often in more than one way. She would be daft for missing an opportunity to see where she might be able to apply a man of such delicious fine qualities. Especially when that cold, calculating, almost predatory curiosities couldn’t shake that mild intrigue that he managed to drawn out of her, pale peridot eyes drinking him in almost greedily, Vitani finding it rather difficult not to think of the fun that they could have between the sheets. A devilish grin finds the man’s grizzled features, his accented baritones having a coy smile dancing across her own pink lips as she blinks perfectly dressed black lashes up at him.”Hmm, I would almost believe you. If not for that ever so faint sensation I’d felt just moments ago. Nice try though, lover”, she purrs cunningly to the fae man. Oh, she was entirely aware that he’d attempted the same thing so many before him had, all to no avail. Such a shame, too. He might have enjoyed those elusive thoughts that flickered just out of his reach.

She listens to the fae man as he goes on to tell her just what it was that someone like him might be doing on this part of the city, all the while those pale peridot eyes blink slowly beneath dark lashes as she finds herself interested. That alone was noteworthy, the fae woman hardly ever barely more than subtle and fleeting curiosity before often growing bored and dismissing those who had previously held her attention. She wonders only for a moment what era he was from, what his perspective of this world they lived in now might be. All these things a fair enough reason to keep him around. At least, for now, until she decided on exactly what value he might have that she could exploit as she so effortlessly did with past subjects of her fickle intrigue. She allows for her elegant features to take on the impression of thoughtfulness as she continued to eye the handsome man in front of her, that coy smile still dancing across her lips."How very interesting. Hardly suitable though, for a man of your... stature", she comments smoothly, almost nonchalantly as he flashes her that wicked grin that surely would have had most any woman go weak in the knees. And yet, Vitani simply gives the man a sultry and nearly kittenish smile in return as he brings up the subject of names."A fine name for a fine man. I am Vitani. Vitani Lovelace", she purrs in that voice not too unlike milk and honey as she watches him take another deep drag of that cigarette. His next string of gruff and accented words has her pale green gaze glittering with what appeared to be amusement - whether or not it was simply a disguise for something else entirely unable to be determined - as she gestures with a slender hand towards the limousine not far behind her."Won't you join me for breakfast, Mr. Redfield? I'd assuredly enjoy your company this morning", she says to him then, a part of her almost entirely sure he would hardly deny her, the fae woman moving that first figurative pristinely white chess piece into place as she waits for him to accept her offer, which in all truthfulness was hardly a suggestion. Let the games begin...
