    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

It had taken some persuading and more than a little ass kissing to get the others to believe his story but finally they stopped looking at him in suspicion upon finding him "unconscious" in front of an empty cell. He had finally come to as they shook him and called out his name and only when he heard whispers of someone catching his clothes on fire to see if that would wake him did he open his eyes as groggily as possible and tried to pretend he'd hit his head pretty hard. He had mussed up his clothes, even adding a few rips and scratches. Using the tip of his pocket knife, he'd even gotten creative and hissed through the pain of making two puncture marks on his neck to make it look like she attacked him and drank from him to get strength. The guys seemed to feel sorry for him after the first barrage of questions. He tried to act confused and weak as he answered them. He must be a pretty decent actor.

They started bringing him to the medic but he assured them he could get there on his own. They didn't seem convinced but when he assured them that he could probably get a head start on finding the escaped vampire and get some brownie points with the higher up's, he could see the eager glow in their eyes as they finally agreed and ventured down the cavern. Knowing she should be out by now, he let out a breath of relief and turned back down the cave he was headed in. Straight ahead he would find the quarters of the coven medic but that wasn't his true destination. He knew they had already started the ritual on the red haired vampire and she would be in the heart of the caves. He needed to get her, however he could. He couldn't forgive himself if he helped one escape and failed the other.

He knew he'd find her strapped down with silver near the medic's office because they'd had the medic checking up on her "progress." He snuck through the doorway and looked around. The medic must have stepped out but Christian knew he would be back at any minute so he didn't have time to spare. He snuck toward the back room where they kept her separated from everyone else. He glanced in the room, sighing in relief when he saw her chained to the table like usual with the mask on her face so she couldn't see where she was and her mouth was muzzled so she couldn't bite anyone. He scowled, wondering how to get in cause he knew there would be enchantments on the door. He tried a few low chants to no avail so he glanced around the office. His lips tugged as he saw the small vial of potion, knowing it was like a panacea of sorts for magic.

Glad he could find it, he threw it at the door and heard the whoosh as the magic released its hold on the door. Grinning in victory, he slipped into the door and made his way to the table. "Hey, um, so you don't know me, but I'm going to get you out of here....somehow. I freed your friend, the dark haired vampire. I know you don't trust me and I don't blame you but when I take the chains and the mask off, I only ask that you don't kill me...or attack me, if that's okay. I need to get you closer to the exit first." He swallowed, hoping that would convince her at least a little that he had good intentions even as he reached for the chains binding her ankles.
