    The West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a certain grunge that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, instead letting the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

    Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark appears to be little more than an abandoned cargo ship. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

After living with her newfound pack for a few years it was very evident to see that none of them were very religious. No one went to church on Sunday, but they did celebrate Christian holidays like Christmas and Easter. After all, the majority of society participated in these events. Raven couldn’t pinpoint the time, but long ago she lost whatever sort of faint hold of faith she had. Besides, would a God truly allow all the atrocities she had to endure and not feel remorse? What about all the horrors everyone else suffered? Could a God really live with all that guilt, and not feel stimulated to do something to make everything right again? Whether there was a God or not it didn’t matter, they could still enjoy those Christian holidays without any sort of commitment to God. It was easy to immerse their little family into Christmas traditions! Decorating the Ark with holly and garland along the rafters with lights submerged in them. They would decorate the Christmas tree together with different orbs and lights, with a golden star at the top! Hanging their colorful stockings with care by their fireplace, which how they had one, was still a mystery to her. Making gingerbread houses, peppermint sticks, ginger spice bars, and all sorts of sugar delights made her boys quite pleased and happy! The one thing she always wanted to achieve on a daily basis was provide some sort of assistance and happiness for her Alpha and her mate.

This year the young woman learned that Easter wasn’t just a time to celebrate the son of God coming back to life after dying for three days. It was also a chance to do some very fun activities! Being in the grocery store she noticed a particular aisle that was always changed for each holiday during the year. She didn’t understand the meaning behind the big white bunny, not until she looked it up on the internet. It was a bit amusing that a giant rodent would leave colorful eggs for children to find. Playing hide and go seek in the Ark was fun, but hiding colorful eggs all around the Ark, well that sounded sensational! Raven was assured that Tetradore and Tobias would find this particular game a lot of fun. Especially if they opened up those plastic eggs and see there was some chocolate inside! At the store she found all the Easter treats she could find and simple looking Easter baskets to put them all in. Yet on the shelves she saw the picture of a family smiling as they seemed to be playing with colors and eggs. Grabbing a box and reading the instructions the young woman fund this particular activity quite fun! Surely this would make them happy, even if ‘coloring’ seemed like a girlish thing to do.

While the boys were busy doing whatever it was they wished to do. The lupine had took their absence as the perfect opportunity to get the Easter festivities ready! Throughout the Ark there were dozens upon dozens of colorful eggs, filled with different sorts of chocolate, hidden all around the Ark. Some were in easy places, like sitting on a table or chair, or the bar top counter, or along the stairs. Then there were some eggs that were perched in the oddest locations, that seemed quite nearly impossible to think Raven had placed them there physically herself. Like some eggs were hanging on the rafters, some were perched on top of open doors, and some were just hidden in other weird places. Telekinesis came really came in handy with this. In the kitchen Raven had placed some plastic table tops to cover the entire island in the kitchen, so to protect the granite from the dye. Placing various old mugs on top she poured vinegar and water, placing a colorful tablet in each. Laying out the egg tongs, white crowns, stickers, and eggs racks, everything was set and ready. All she had to do was wait for them to come home. It was the sound of their voices that made the lupine come out of the kitchen finding them coming through the front door. Eagerly she walked towards them with a bounce in her step. Stopping in front of them she grinned at them, a bit shyly, unsure if they would be willing to take part.

“Hi guys, so...it’s Easter, well, I found some Easter fun games to do! I promise it’s a lot of fun, come on!”

Without missing a beat or even waiting to hear a response she quickly headed towards the kitchen, opening the door, and gesturing them to come inside. There they would see all the items that it would take to dye an egg. Once they were inside she walked over to the counter pointing to the items as she spoke.

”So, the first thing we can do is dye eggs! You can take an egg and place it gently in the mug that contains your color. Then you leave it in there for a while so that the color can be on the egg. The longer the egg sits in the color gets darker. Then you take it out and it turns out like this! You can draw or write on the egg with this white crown, and we can put these stickers on it too! I have all the colors! There is red, blue, yellow, pink, orange, purple, teal, lighter blue, and green! Do you guys want to try?”

Handing them an egg tong each, she grabbed her own and placed it around a white egg that was sitting in the carton. Taking the egg she slowly, gently, placed it into the mug that contained the teal color. Satisfied with her work she grabbed a white crayon, and began to slowly draw on one. When finished she took the egg tong again and placed the egg gently into the purple one, looking up to see if the others were at least willing to try.
