East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

"Oh? You do?" Her eyes may be pale as ice but there is a darkness that lurks behind them, so dark and calculating always watching. So very different than him. He raised a glass to her and she did the same as though matching his gesture. "I do look forward to you showing these ingenious traits." A dark delicious giggle escapes her lips, eyeing his widened grin. He truly did not seem as ancient as he was, he was so happy and boyish with his lighthearted charms. It was truly bewildering to the raven haired vampire. 'How has time not jaded you so?' She questions to herself, unsure of this anomaly before her, unconvinced if this was all real or a precocious act.

"Oh I have plenty of room for both.. I'm afraid I am somewhat insatiable." She admits darkly. "What happens to that peace?" She knew the answer. Oh history is so doomed to repeat itself; to create an illusion of peace only to have it washed off the face of reality. Humankind was never so understanding, they tried to be and they put up a decent guise but a guise was all it was. Smoke and mirrors, which she would have to admit she knew all too well. "You are right, humans do change their minds quickly as changing their clothes, which is what only supports my theory that this peace treaty is going to hell in a hand basket my friend. It's a good thing I like fireworks." She tips back the drink, the glass resting upon her parted lips, allowing for the rest of the contents to slide down her throat, leaving a warming trail that gently resonates within her. She had to admit she liked that warming sensation against her insides. "I never really was much for dreams, but only time will tell of his fate." No definitely not dreams, but nightmares on the other hand she was tormented by them so that she became one.

She was all too content to let the conversation fade of politics, after all, who wanted to speak of politics and religion? Especially to a man she hardly knew, how they travelled down such a path amused her. Not many were much for conversation or any kind of meaningful bonds. In truth, not many could keep up or they were too blinded by the superficial glamour of things. It was easier that way.

A languid grin finds her lips, although her eyes remain dark and haunting. "Oh, the poor zoo that you raided of its old toothless predators." She chided in an all too comical gesture that doesn't quite fit, she tips her head slightly in careful consideration. "I have had were once, now that was interesting. They lose control so quickly." But in truth, the hunt always ended in the same way, she always got what she wanted. How could one escape her twisted illusions? An effective cage within the wild confines of her power, she could have anyone at her fingertips. But she doesn't, not always. Sometimes she watches patiently, sometimes she creates such a detailed and vibrant scene she almost becomes lost within it and some moments she indulges simply because she could. In truth, so much of this world bore her to death that she needed to create her own sordid entertainment. "Eating vamps?" This caused her to raise a brow at him, in truth it caught her off guard. No vampires were never really on the menu in terms of prey for her. It was an intimate gesture to bite another vampire but to feed off another for the purpose of food? That didn't feel quite right as though the puzzle pieces didn't quite fit. "I think I will take a hard pass on rancid vampire for tonight." At that moment she orders another round, surprising both herself and probably him in the process.

At first she though he was joking again when he mentioned having rabbit before coming, her eyes glitter with amusement, a full grown vampire man feeding on a pet rabbit entered her mind. Quite simply the rat then turned into a rabbit, pawing at the edge of his boot, nibbling on it like he would a bright orange crispy carrot. His name dances upon her lips. "Malek.. you are truly a different breed.." She wasn't sure what she meant by it but he was unlike any of her kind she had met.

All too suddenly, a diversion that brings forth a certain amusement that flickers behind her eyes briefly at the flying undergarment that landed upon his lap which suddenly dangled betwixt his fingertips. An impish grin finds its way upon her crimson lips as he announced stripper in their midst. "Watch." She states a soft demand, pivoting in her chair to find the half-naked woman in the crowd. She really wasn't hard to find, her breasts practically glowing beacons from the club lights overhead. She conjures her affinity, that all too familiar spark flashing to life. She creates a fleet of a dozen tarantulas that only she and the woman could see. Abruptly, over the loud thrumming music that poor unsuspecting woman screams a blood curdling cry, trying to rid her exposed flesh from the frightening creepy crawly, furry insects that remained unrelenting. The crowd takes pause, watching her with quizzical faces as she looked like a crazy person who thought they were on fire. She had never seen a human move so fast as she ran about flailing in a comedic fashion. Well how was that for entertainment? A topless woman flailing about like a lunatic, perhaps he wouldn't find the same impish delight in her cruel little joke. She turns to face him to study those masculine features. "Tell me you don't ever think or crave for a real taste of what our kind was designed for?" She questions, mischief gleaming in her pale and deadly eyes.
