East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Miya is entirely unaware of the way Ludo watches her as she digs into her food, her eyes wide as saucers as she thoroughly enjoys the stew. Humming to herself delightedly, she smiles to herself as she wolfs down, bite after bite, only drawing her chocolate gaze upwards when Ludo begins speaking to her once more. Pausing mid bite, she raises her brows at him as he attempts to determine the spices used, "Who careeeeeees, just eat," Miya whines as she begins to eat again, though his next question has her perking up. "Who, me?" Miya states, bewildered before realizing he had indeed been speaking to her, hardly noticing the way he so flirted with her, "Oh! I would love that! I love food!" She exclaims loudly, drawing the attention of several tables, though Miya hardly notices... or cares at the moment. Returning to her food, it doesn't take her long before she finishes, leaning back into her seat with a satisfied grin.

As she grasps the third glass with her hand, she is quick to down the contents of it, rather enjoying the way it made her head feel. She felt light and giddy and that she could most certainly conquer the world. "Hey, remember when that guy almost hit me on the road? We should go find him, I want to give him a stern talking to," Miya declares suddenly, her lower lip jutted out in an almost pouting fashion before suggesting they go on an adventure. The petite woman is delighted that he agrees to her plan, obviously the best idea her drunken mind could create, as a beaming smile engulfs her features. "We can experience it together then!" She states wildly again, pushing back from the table, only to stagger at the sudden movement. Falling into a fit of bubbling laughter, she steadies herself carefully, both hands placed on the table as she gets the spinning room under control.

"Oooooh, I feel funny," she laughs again, finally getting her weight under her enough to stand, her hands groping for Ludo's jacket as she's temporarily distracted by his Italian lyrics. "Well, I don't know. This is why we're going on an adventure, Ludo," she says, not entirely realizing if he had been talking to the waitress or herself. Snatching his jacket, she shoves it into his hands before grabbing her messenger bag and sliding it over her head. It doesn't take them long before they are marching towards the door, Miya managing to trip over her own feet as she stumbles forward, falling into another fit of laughter, hardly realizing that Ludo had been the one to catch her from plummeting face first into the floor. "I think I'm drunk," she giggles delightedly, her chocolate eyes turning to Ludo as she beams at him, "I've never been drunk before," she states suddenly, not realizing how tight he had been gripping her arm in her state.

His next question has the woman frowning, her eyes darting down to his fingers wrapped around her arm. Shaking her head, "No silly, of course, not! I'm totally fine!" She says as if Ludo were the absurd one. Pausing, she glances down at his outstretched hand, her slanted eyes wandering to his handsome face again as he explains himself. Shrugging to herself, she slips her slender fingers between his warm ones and tugs him along as they exit the door, the chilly air whipping at her black locks. Miya hardly felt the cold! She truly felt like she was on top of the world! Grinning like an idiot, she turns back to Ludo, "I didn't almost fall by the way, I am one hundred percent in control," she states, though, even in her drunken stupor she's entirely aware that she had almost fallen. Unable to keep a smooth expression for long, laughter bubbles from her mouth again, enjoying the warmth from Ludo's hand.

"Oh! Look! A fountain! Let's go make a wish," she says brightly, her eyes widening as she tugs on Ludo's hand toward the heart of downtown, the fountain still very much active despite the chill. As they reach the edge, she refuses to drop Ludo's hand as she maneuvers her bag around to fetch her wallet, producing two coins. Handing one to him, she tilts her head slightly, her cheeks entirely flushed by the alcohol and the cold, "Here. What're you gonna wish for?" She asks, glancing up at him as she loosely holds her coin in her hand.
