East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The woman hardly noticed the way passerby's glanced at her. Nor was she aware by the laughter that followed her or the dirty looks that were cast in her direction. Miya was entirely content to splash within that fountain, the alcohol bringing out that more childish side of her. She pauses in her splashing, only to note the way Ludo sits down on the edge and folds his arms, as if he were content to simply watch her as she continued to soak her clothing. It hardly takes her long to decide on that wish she wanted to use on that coin, her exclamation far too loud in the quiet public place as she positions herself to throw that coin, only to fall face first into the water. She resurfaces, spluttering, shock dancing across her features, her chocolate eyes finding Ludo only to realize that he was laughing at her. If she had been sober, she might have been upset at the situation and yet, she could only feel her own bubbling laughter roll off the tip of her tongue.

Pushing herself to a standing position, her mind still isn't registering the cold as she slowly moves to the edge of the fountain only to be met by Ludo. She hardly complains when he reaches out for her, this time placing her hands on his shoulders as he helps her form that fountain, water running from every part of her. "I've never been better," she grins at him as he simply lifts her from that fountain and places her on the ground next to him. She was no better than a child, Ludo her caretaker for the evening. As she demand if his dream came true, she can't help the childish grin that splits her face, falling into another fit of giggles. "I'm barely even wet," she complains in that moment, her chocolate eyes turning upwards to meet Ludo's gaze, her lip pushing out in a pouting manner. When his coat settles over her figure, it seems to do the trick into shocking her brain into realizing that she was freezing, her small shoulders beginning to shake with that oncoming wind.

Folding her arms over her chest, it still doesn't diminish that sense of joy the alcohol brought on as Ludo finally suggests they leave, "Ooooh, where are we going now?" She prompts him, her head swiveling form side to side as if another adventure was what she needed. Reaching out with shaking fingers, she pulls his jacket tighter around her frame, burrowing her face into it, his cologne clinging to that fabric. "You smell good," she says suddenly, sniffing at the collar of the coat before turning and looking at him again. "I guess I am a little cold," she admits finally as he begins to lead her down that sidewalk. Shifting closer to him, she's practically pressed to his side, her wet hair hanging about her face as she seeks his warmth, her frame shuddering fiercely from that cold now. His askance of hot chocolate has the girl turning on him wildly, that excitement widening her eyes as she nods her head, "I looooove hot chocolate! Can I have cinnamon with mine? It's soooo good!" She exclaims excitedly, picking up her own drunken pace as if she knew where they were going.

It doesn't take them long to reach Ludo's place, the couple pausing in front of the door as he quickly and efficiently unlocks it, leading them into the warmth. She almost sighs in relief then, that jacket slipping from her shoulders as she simply deposits it on the ground, not actually realizing what she had done. His deep tenors draw her attention again, her chocolate gaze falling on him as he orders her to stay put, the girl finding enough sense in the back of her mind to do as she was told. Her hair is still dripping as he disappears into a room, only to return with a new set of clothes. She accepts them, following Ludo's hand to point to the bathroom, a faint frown creasing her forehead. Why was he telling her where the bathroom was? She didn't need to use it, perhaps he was being polite. Nodding at him, she slips that messenger bag from her shoulder, letting it clunk to the ground, only to remove her scarf and her jacket, the clothing pooling at her feet. Then without warning, she merely grasps the hem of that chunky sweater and slips it over her head, hardly caring that Ludo was standing next to her, her common sense long gone.

Kicking off her shoes, she laughs as she stumbles right into Ludo, her hands going to grasp at his shirt, eyes looking up as her shoulders shake with a combination of cold and giggles, "I think I'm a little drunk, is this what drunk feels like?"
