East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Ludovino Donati
It feels like I only go backwards

As someone once coined the phrase, "Ignorance is bliss." Ludovino thought that Miya was the pure embodiment of the term. It's not that she was an airhead, she just was blissfully unaware of how her actions affected others. Especially when she decided to suddenly sweep off her shirt in front of him. "How did I even get into a position like this," he thought to himself as he violently shook his head, trying to get rid of the thoughts that plagued his mind in the heat of the moment. "She's not in a right state of mind," he kept convincing himself as he felt her small breasts press against his chest and her wet hair soak his shirt. He listens to her ask if she was drunk and concerned as to if this exactly was what it was like to feel drunk. "Yes, you are," Ludo stated calmly. "Beyond," he muttered in exhaustion as he gently guided her towards the couch. "Sit down for a moment while I help you," he told Miya as he grabbed his spare clothes for her and shifted into a squat to help Miya into the clothes. He couldn't help but look at the delicately modest bra and noticed that it was dripping wet as well. "Uhh, hold on a moment," he awkwardly sighed as he reached around Miya and unhooked the bra.

Continuing to hold his gaze on the wall behind her, "I'm not trying to do anything funny, I'll throw your clothes in the dryer once we get you dressed." Again, keeping his eyes glued entirely to the wall he slipped the oversized shirt over her head. "Go change your pants in the bathroom," he spoke, flustered beyond belief. He slowly pushed her into the bathroom and demanded she change by herself. After almost 20 minutes of listening to a drunk argue from the bathroom about how they "didn't need to do it", and that they'd be "just fine", he finally convinced her otherwise by threatening to take away his offer for hot cocoa with marshmallows. She stepped out of the bathroom, looking silly with his shirt and pants engulfing her more than his jacket. Yet, he still admired how even in pajamas she had a beautiful air about her.

"Do you like jazz music? Here," Ludo asked as he took one of his most treasured records and started playing it. "I'll go make some cocoa," he smiled as he sauntered off into his kitchen area. While melting the chocolate, he couldn't help but be a bit giddy with the situation before him. He had a resolve to make it the best hot chocolate anyone had ever had. After placing the marshmallows on top of the overfilled mugs, he shaved a bit of chocolate that sprinkled on top of the halfway melted marshmallows and foam. He couldn't help but be pleased with his presentation. Making his way back out to the couch where Miya sat swaying her head to the music he handed her the hot chocolate. Sitting beside her, he watched as she excitedly brought the hot chocolate instantly to her lips. "How is it?" he asked, watching her eyes glisten with delight. "Is it the best hot chocolate you've ever had?" he teased, admittedly hoping it was.

Once they had finished their drinks, Ludo waltzed back into the kitchen grabbing crackers and water for Miya. "Why don't we call it a night and we can go on more adventures tomorrow, I promise," he smirked as he walked her into his bedroom. Gently laying her into the bed, he tucked her in, throwing three blankets on top so she wouldn't be chilly throughout the night. Setting the water and crackers on the bedside night stand, he tip-toed towards the door, turning out the lights and quietly said his goodnights to Miya. "Sleep well," he whispered as he shut the door behind him. He didn't mentally prepare himself for what today entailed but again, he couldn't help but feel happy by the crazy roller coaster of a day. He threw in Miya's clothes into the dryer and then made his way over to the couch where he ripped off his shirt and took off his jeans for the night. Sliding a blanket on over him, he laid on the couch, now realizing that his record had been spinning silently for quite some time now.
