East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

They are quick to take their seats, Vhalla easily ordering for Ellie, not wanting to put her in an uncomfortable situation at the bar. The girl was clearly inexperienced at well, almost everything it seemed to the assassin. Not that it was a bad thing, but the last thing they needed was for them to get kicked out of the bar. Still, Vhalla is entirely pleased by the girl's reaction to the club, her eyes wide as she attempts to take everything in, the blaring music making it hard to hear each other but they manage just fine as their drinks arrive and Ellie is stating they need to make this a thing. Grinning at the girl, she nods at her, "I'm definitely okay with that!" She shouts over the music as she grasps her glass in a hand before glancing out across the dance floor. "I doubt Laz will be pleased but what he doesn't know what kill him," she says a bit distastefully but pushes the image of the man away for the time being.

When Ellie finally takes a sip of her drink, blue eyes travel to the woman beside her, "Do you like it?" She asks, though there is no grimacing on the woman's part so it must have at least been okay. As their conversation shifts to Lazarus, she practically chokes on her drink, spluttering and coughing she has to set the glass on the table before she can catch her breath. Wary eyes turn on Ellie then, clearly noting the curiosity seems to burn in the girl's eyes. Why the hell did she have to be taken so off guard? Honestly, Vhalla should have expected the question! Still, the witch can't help but keep that blush from her cheeks as she turns to face the woman, averting her gaze slightly so that she's glancing at the bartender instead. Ellie's comment has that blush burning more brightly into her cheeks as blue eyes snap back to Elain.

"I am not blushing," she grunts in annoyance before picking up that drink again only having to set it down abruptly again as Elain practically interrogates the assassin. Looking away from Elain, she can't help but feel that familiar heat fill her body as she's practically transported back to that drunken night with Lazarus, the touch of his fingers on her body... in her. The way he kissed her ravenously as if he couldn't get enough of the woman, the way he made her feel loose and taut all at once, it was hard to push away that memory. Shoving it down, she has to swallow several times before glancing back at Ellie, not wanting to discuss that she had slept with her brother. Though, it had been unintentional she hardly wanted the hunter to push the two of them together and be something that they would never be able to be. There were too different and too much of the same person to ever have a successful relationship; let alone Vhalla having never been in a relationship for certain reasons.

"Yeah, I ran into him again but I didn't beat him up," she states then, picking up that drink and downing it before ordering another one, "Look, I don't want to talk about Lazarus, I want to spend time with you and get drunk," she says with a little exasperation lining her words. The bartender is quick to return with her drink which Vhalla downs in one gulp. "Come on, let's go dance," she says quickly, not wanting Ellie to pry any farther, that blush finally vanishing from her cheeks. Grabbing Ellie's hand, she quickly moves them onto the dance floor, the sweaty bodies engulfing them as they begin to sway to the music. Vhalla's glare keeps the many men away that want to dance with the two women, whether Ellie was aware of it or not, Vhal was entirely content on protecting the innocent woman.

The dance for awhile, their own bodies becoming sweat slicked, laughter exchanged between the two of them. "Lets go get another drink!" Vhalla shouts over the music before linking arms with the woman and leading them back to the bar. Depositing Ellie in one of the seats, Vhalla orders them both a couple of shots, a devilish grin so adorning her lips. When they arrive, she picks her shot glass up and clinks it against Ellie's, "Hold your breath when you take it! It won't be so bad," she laughs before downing her first shot and then moving onto the next. Watching the woman's reactions, she can't help but howl with laughter as the woman makes a face. "You get used to it after a while!" She laughs again, "Stay right here, I need to go to the bathroom," Vhalla calls to her friend before weaving herself through the bodies of the crowd.
