East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I keep going to the river to pray.

It had been a few weeks since Willow had gotten away and less time since Isolt had saved her, the red head coming to the rescue of a complete stranger had truly got Willow thinking. She could see in the way Isolt acted that she wasn't out to hurt her and this had spark a little trust for the vampire race, in Willow's eyes it meant not all vampires were evil. She had managed to get herself an apartment and it took her no time to make it feel homie, she had spent days getting things for the place and had had recently manage to finish it all up. She had also become close with Isolt feeling like she owed the vampire a lot, it was because of her she wasn't going back to that hell hole she had lived in her whole life but thats a story for another time.

Willow had something she wished to ask the red head and knew all to well that she would be at her pub and that was the first place she was going to head too. It didn't take the girl long to get ready, a pair of skinny jeans paired with a long sleeved black shirt and she was dressed to go, she had left her white hair down for once and noticed it had grown down to the middle of her back easily. She grabbed her bag and slipped on her running shoes quickly going out the door locking it and making her way down to the streets. It had been dark for just over an hour now and Willow wasn't to keen on being outside alone past dark, the last time she tried that she almost became lunch.

Willow knew she was no more than a 20 minute walk away from the pub and kept a quick and steady past as she moved herself. It was fairly busy outside and this only caused Willow to feel more uncomfortable, she could for the most part tell the difference between a vampire and a human but sometimes she had so much trouble doing so that it out her in danger. She walked down the street her eyes glued to the ground as she moved around the others on the street, crowds also made Willow nervous but thats just cause she was shy and mostly kept to herself. A small breath escaped her lips as the lights of the pub came into view, she was no more than a skip and a hop away from being indoors again. What could go wrong now.
