East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It's not the long walk home that will change this heart,
But the welcome I receive at the restart.

Their hands reached for the same tray, Dareios hesitating as Mrs. Addams collected a slender glass of wine. He almost missed the opportunity to collect a chute for himself as she, much to his surprise, noticed him and had something to say. Thin, dark eyebrows raised from underneath the soft fabric of the mask across his eyes, and a gentle smirk appeared across his lips. Rather clumsily, he reached for his own glass of wine as the bartender turned to head the other way. Dareios extended his glass to her own in a friendly gesture of cheers before taking a sip, and quickly contemplating his reply.

"Ah, a casualty of my last duel, I'm afraid." He spoke, his Irish accent thick on his tongue. He peered down at his waist, pretending to notice the glaring hole of the missing sword from his costume. "But don't fret dear, Zorro may have lost his sword, but he never looses a duel." With that, the vampire takes another swig from his glass and eyes the bartender who is making the rounds again. He hastily grabs for another.

"In all honesty, I'd make a terrible masked hero." He continues, nudging a bit closer to the woman as the crowds begin to fill in. It appears this Damon fellow had invited the entire neighborhood tonight. Dareios watches her from behind his mask, at ease in her company, at least somewhat, knowing well that she was also a vampire. "So where's the rest of the Addams family?" He asks before surveying the room again.
