Miyako might have been wary if someone besides Malia continued to push for information, but for the girl, she would oblige, though the questions were a touch concerning. What type of life had she lived to become this way? "Well, no. I've taken defense classes so if I were to be attacked I would like to think I was smart enough and not panic to figure a way out of it," she says thoughtfully, turning towards the girl with a half-smile. "I've never hit anyone before. I would rather help someone than hurt them," Miya gives a small shrug. It was true. No matter how angry the woman got, she hardly ever thought about violence as a resort.

It takes only several minutes to piece together an outfit for the girl and usher her into the changing room. That laughter echoing through her lips as she explained that she didn't need to fight anyone to get the clothes, instead offering that she would purchase them for her. She's rather thankful when Malia doesn't fight her on it and instead her chocolate eyes do a once over at the now fitted clothes. Smiling, Miya gives a nod of approval as she strolls back into the store with Malia in tow, scanning the leather jackets to find a suitable one. Handing her one, she watched the girl with curiosity, as the woman runs her fingers across the material seeming to enjoy the feel of it. And when she tries it on and admits that she likes it, Miyako beams at her.

"It suits you," she nods happily as she transitions into asking if the girl was hungry. "Good, me too," she states as she shifts her messenger bag on her shoulder to ease the weight. "Let's go pay for your clothes and we can go get some food," she suggests, gesturing that the woman follow her to the counter. As she reaches it she gives an apologetic smile to the sales-woman, "I know it's a bit unusual but can we buy everything that she's wearing right now?" Miyako gestures to Malia at her side. She expected a snide retort from the woman, but instead, she simply smiles back at Mi and Malia before rushing about the store and gathering the different clothing items that Malia now wore. It doesn't take long before she's back at the counter and ringing them up, rattling off the total.

Hiding the shock behind a grimace of a smile, Miyako fishes out her wallet and hands her a card. She had forgotten how expensive clothes were. Yet, the Asian woman wouldn't complain, she owed the girl for dumping her coffee on her, though she knew she would be tight on money for the next week. Repressing that sigh, she signs on the receipt before retrieving her card and storing it back in her wallet. Turning to Malia, she offers a bright grin, "Now that you officially own these clothes, let's get those tags off," she states, as she reaches around to begin unclipping the tags from each of the clothing items. When she finishes, she hands them to the sales-woman who offers to throw them away.

Hooking arms with Malia, she steers her towards the door and back into the chilly weather. "There's a cute little deli just a few blocks down, let's go there," she says brightly as she strolls with hooked arms with Malia, humming to herself quietly as the pass fellow pedestrians. "So, tell me Malia. Where are you from?" She inquires curiously, glancing towards the girl at her side just as they stop at a crosswalk. Luckily the light was just changing and they could cross quickly, finding the Deli to be only a few hundred feet away, they make it to the shop without incident, stepping back into the warm air.

Unhooking her arms with Malia, she strides to the counter, gesturing to the girl to follow her, "They can basically make any kind of sandwich you want!" she gushes happily, turning to the girl, "What do you want?"
