Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

Within the depths of that magical hold Arlo barely seemed to notice that roaring laughter that left the other man. In fact, Arlo barely noticed anything outside of Malek himself and that realization that he really did have a very nice laugh. He should laugh more often. The young vampire content to cling to him now if only to fulfil that desire to be close to him that suddenly seemed to overtake every thought he had ever had with sudden importance. Malek's efforts to detangle himself from Arlo's grasp were met with at least some reluctance by the younger vampire. The elder one finally managing to extricate himself only to turn and face Arlo now before lifting that wrist to his lips to heal those wounds. God, look at the mess he'd made of his lovers wrist! How could he be so terrible?! The sudden soft removal of that magic readily seemed to see Arlo blink in surprise. Those feelings of desire, of want, suddenly seeming to melt away near as quickly as they had come. Arlo left staring in some moment of bewilderment. Had he...hugged Malek? Wait, church? What? The sudden assurance that Malek could rouse a priest here and now to marry them readily seemed to see Arlo's blue gaze widen, the man stumbling hurriedly backwards and away from Malek as best he could in that single moment.

"There is no way I....I mean.....god is that what I asked? You just stay right back there! I am not marrying you! Christ!"

God, what was wrong with him!? How many men had he fallen in love with now? Two? Did he have tendencies? Was this why it was so easy for them to do? He wasn't gay he was sure of it. Like....90% sure. He needed to find a magazine or something just to check. Breasts were still awesome right? Yeah- they definitely were. Even the thought of them was enough to remind him of that. God maybe he was just.....Bi. The thought enough to alarm him even more. Arlo nearly oblivious to Malek's words then and that mention of dawn. The younger man far to absorbed in his own worries. He'd almost forgotten he had questions. Well. Questions about things other than his own sexuality. Arlo reaching for that card with the address all the same, the man flipping it over in momentary curiosity, his head nodded before that mention of his control saw him scowl. So that's what this had been about then- although to be fair he had probably deserved it. He hadn't exactly been forthcoming in letting Malek's arm go. He should have been- especially when Malek was willing to let himself be fed on- a notoriously rare find amongest elder vampires especially and one he really should waste.

"Yeah, look, I didn't mean it I just.....sorry, I guess."

That assurance that they might end up married the next time managed to prompt that barest simper to Arlo's lips all the same. Alright, maybe that was a bit amusing. As long as he didn't tell anyone. Malek wouldn't do that right? He did want the answers to those questions and he did need to work on that control. Meeting up with Malek again not exactly the worst idea if the man was so willing to help. Arlo's lips parting then to speak once more before that near offhanded comment about accompanying Malek to his bed saw that scowl return.

"Oh ha ha ha. Maybe I could use your help but there is no way in hell I am getting in your bed- you're not....allowed to do that. I- are you even listening? Malek!"

The other man, it seemed, was already walking away. Arlo content to roll his eyes before hurriedly stopping himself. Could Malek see him? Maybe he shouldn't risk it. Arlo settling for that brief wave of his hand.

"Cya next time, bud."
