North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

North

Things in this city had started off well enough, so tonight she was going to go out and enjoy herself. She'd gotten her apartment all set up, she found a job, so now it was time to let off steam. Granted, she didn't find this week particularly stressful, but she did enjoy having fun. Especially if it meant she could snag someone to spend the night with who would buy her a few drinks. One-night stands were AJ's favorite thing, it meant no strings or any of those pesky feelings that so many people seemed to catch. She had been there before, a deep and meaningful relationship that ultimately ended in betrayal. Ever since then she made sure not to let herself get attached to someone, romantically or otherwise.

She'd heard about a bar called The VooDoo room, and being the curious person she was she decided to make this place her destination for the night. The witch was dressed in a pair of black pleather pants that rest low on her hips, and a white tank top with her black bra just slightly visible beneath it. Finishing off the outfit was a pair of pointed black heels and simple, mostly natural make-up with a bit of a smoky eye. Her blonde hair hung in gentle beach-like waves that came just past her shoulders. AJ never tried too hard to impress anyone; she dressed for herself, and whoever didn't like it could simply fuck off.

The witch made her way through the crowd, the confidence and attitude she had seeming to come off of her in waves. A smirk rest on her glossed lips as she reached the bartender; she quickly ordered herself a drink before her lithe form slid onto a barstool. One leg crossed over the other and her foot moved in time with the music that came through the speakers. The drink was placed next to her, and she reached in her small black clutch and handed over her credit card to start her tab. If luck was on her side tonight, someone else would be buying her drinks shortly. Fingers wrapped around her glass and she took a small sip of the clear liquid in the glass as her eyes scanned for possible entertainment for the night.
