Amelia's goal with Troy was never to try to convert him into liking vampires. Amelia was old enough to have seen people try that approach with much failure. She had learned never to pressure anyone into thinking or believing something that goes against their very nature. Troy was an old soul, and he had figured out what he believed in a long time ago. Amelia wasn't here to change that, she was here to simply enjoy his company. If he were to get hostile with her (knowing his history), she'd be out before he could even figure out what had happened. But so far, he had only helped her...and he was good company, so she would enjoy it while it lasted.

And while they were enjoying a night out on the town, she wanted him to truly enjoy himself. She knew that dressing how she did would cause him to look at her provocatively. If she didn't want that kind of attention, then she wouldn't have dressed how she did. It was okay to look...what wasn't okay was taking advantage of the situation without permission â€" aka no rape or unwanted touching. Good news though, Amelia was pretty open to anything that might come from tonight.

As they leave the safety of her property, she can feel the blood begin to rush through her veins. Pulse increases and she can feel her heart beating in her chest. She doesn't like how uncomfortable going out makes her feel, but she's not willing to let it consume her and ruin her perfectly good night.

His words cause her to laugh just slightly as she turns to look at him. "No, you just need money and reservations or knowing the owners. Good news for you, I have both money and I know the owner. You'll get in easily." The owner was a good friend of Amelia's and the one who founded the restaurant. This was his brainchild and it worked very hard to get the restaurant to where it is now.

His second set of words had the smile stripped from her lips. She sighed softly as she turned to look out the window at the passing scenery. "I'm alright...all things considered." She still had a little PTSD and was still very nervous to go out, but as far as her physical wounds, the only thing left was a scar. "And you? I see your car came out unharmed."
