Amelia had been around long enough that she too had been in every kind of relationship there was. However, she had her preferences and while she wasn't usually one to do the one-night stand kind of thing, Troy was making her consider the option more and more. She enjoyed her time with Troy and she hoped it wouldn't come to an end after tonight. She knew he didn't like vampires, but she hoped that he would take some time to befriend her and maintain that friendship. She enjoyed his company, even if things remained PG rated tonight.

He made a joke about reconstructive surgery and she nearly let her jaw drop to the floor. What did he think she was? Looser than loose? "I don't need any reconstructive surgery, thank you very much." She said it lightly, trying to make it funny. Amelia had no children and she didn't sleep around â€"that- much so really, things were pretty tight up there. She maintained herself well.

They talk about the likelihood that they will meet again and she nods when he says that he hopes it isn't their last time to see one another. She's glad he wants to spend some time with her and she vowed that next time â€" they would eat a cheeseburger. "Then we'll have cheeseburgers next time." She chuckled lightly, finding humor in their conversation. It was so easy for Amelia to converse with him. It had been a long time since she had been able to enjoy herself as much as she was tonight.

Their food arrives and they toast. She listens to his words and nods her head. "My intention has never been to get you to change...just to see that some of us aren't cruel." She didn't expect him to turn into a vampire lover. No. She just wanted him to acknowledge that some of them were not all that bad. Some had a lot to offer society. She just wanted to show him that sometimes, it's good to get to know someone before slashing them.

They eat in silence though Amelia can't help but chuckle at his curiosity about the silverware. She wants to tell him to eat with the longer fork...that the smaller is for salads, but she says nothing. She just eats her meal silently and when they are both done, she asks how he enjoyed it. His comment had her laughing. "Point taken. We'll go somewhere less fancy next time."

Their waiter comes and removes their empty plates. Amelia motions for the musicians to take their leave and for the car to be gotten. "Drinks at my place?" Here was the moment of truth: either he wanted to spend some private alone time with her, or he just wanted to drop her off and head on his own way. Regardless of his choice, she stands from the table, handing the waiter a generous amount of cash before she picks up the tail of her dress and begins to talk back through the restaurant to his car waiting for them at the exit.
