Sebastian Ellington

Cause i've been dancing with shadows
waiting till the morning after

Sebastian could hear the musical sound of the peculiar young woman's voice as she giggled quite manically at her assailants. However, in that precise moment he cared particularly little about her and how she was fairing. What mattered to him entirely was to ensure Ceara was unharmed. The woman vampire was hardly his friend really, the pair only having met on two or three occasions and yet, he found a sort of comfort within her, a companionship birthed out of the simple fact that they had a shared history with his maker, one that varied drastically. He wanted to know her, and in turn, he also wanted to know of his maker through her. The child like creature he had been presented with was nothing short of utter insanity. In fact, that laughter that had left Vhalla's lips reminded him particularly of Anna-Marie when she so coaxed her prey to play a fruitless game of 'chase'. Heaven forbid those two ever met, though he supposed they'd find entertainment within one another. What a peculiar companionship that would be. He shook such thoughts from his head, however, as he gained distance upon that fleeing figure, so literally pulling him back down the stairs to tumble and land with a hard thud on the floor of the bar.

He stepped back down towards the floor of the bar, watching as the man scrambled to his feet, clearly dazed and yet equally as determined to get to his destination. A scowl crossed his features as he watched the vampire though Sebastian regarded him with little more than indifference. Violence was not his specialty, much less his like. He watched as the man came up to him, swinging with the ridiculous thought that a simple fist would be enough see Sebastian laid out on the floor. The first punch was deftly avoided with an easy side step though Sebastian hardly shifted enough to allow the man the use of the stairs. The second punch collided into his jawline and yet it hardly truly hurt in the least. After all, Sebastian was dead and hadn't eaten yet today, the sensation little more than an annoyance to him. He was oblivious to the presence of the gun, much less the arrival of the second assailant, instead focused entirely on catching the flying fist of the first one he had so been presented with.

It was the scent of blood upon that dagger that distracted him momentarily, his eyebrows furrowed as his gaze deviated and yet, that distraction was enough for the knife wielding man to catch him entirely off guard. His arm raised, that knife cutting through the material of his shirt and through his flesh. Immediately he stepped backwards, his lips raising to reveal his sharpened canines to them alone as a noteable hiss left his lips. Unfortunately, that distraction seemed to serve as exactly what the pair of men needed as the first man so shifted behind him. It was the sound of the feet on the stairs that caused him to turn, far more concerned with the once again retreating figure then his companion. It was in that singular moment that Sebastian so called upon his own affinities, entirely ignoring the screaming of the crowd or the man behind him as that singular red thread so unfrilled from his fingertips. It was with a simple air of confidence that he so tossed it in the air, letting it catch upon the retreating figure up the stairs.

He didn't notice, in those moments that the thread so tripped the man up the stairs a second time, the figure that moved around him or that silver blade that encroached once more upon him. In fact, he wasn't aware of it until that silver knife slid around his body and was slammed with a relentless force into his stomach. That pain that laced his body as that silver burned through his flesh immediately caught his attention, his hand abruptly pulling upon that thread to send the first man's body slamming into the stairs with a sheer force that, this time, his skull slammed into the wooden floor and he didn't raise. The second man, however, was immediately rewarded with the vampire's attention. His hand released that hold upon that thread that disappeared as quickly as it came, instead reaching out to grab the knife brandishing fellow around the neck. He ignored the way the man reached for that blade in his stomach, much less pulled it out but he hardly had the chance to slide it between his ribs a second time before Sebastian's hands snapped his neck with a sickening ease, letting his body drop solidly to the floor.

His hand immediately went to his stomach, eying the hot, sticky blood that came away with his touch. Damn. He needed to eat if it was going to close up properly. The sound of footsteps cause his gaze to turn upwards, immediately refocusing upon Vhalla herself. It seemed as if the trio had been appropriately dealt with. Now that the danger was over, his focus was entirely singular. His nose twitched with a peculiarly unique scent of blood, that substance so calling to him. "Come on." He muttered, reaching out to grab the woman's hand just enough to lead her out of the bar and into the alleyway beside the building. It was entirely natural, the way his affinity so reached out to her in those moments, to surround her enough to make him entirely appeasing to her. Sebastian released her just outside of the alley, instead turning to place that bloodied hand on the wall next to her as he stepped closer towards her. "You smell....good." That accented voice was but a soft murmur in the darkness of the air and yet, in that moment, she was the only thing that mattered to him.
