Anna's slip from one conscious to the next was as smooth and subtle as the breeze that caressed the pair. If Sebastian were to have questioned Anna about what she had said then the poor child wouldn't have the faintest idea. It was as if it had never happened. Anna happily stood from Sebastian's lap when he agreed they could go get her present that he had promised. She wasn't sure why Sebastian had insisted on this detour but with a last glance over at the ruins quickly followed her childe away back to the main streets.

The moment Anna's eyes settled on the toy shop she smiled in delight and her steps became bouncy. It was hard for her to contain her excitement the entire way until they stopped in front of the window. Even though Sebastian's 'surprise' lacked any real emotion to it, Anna hardly seemed to notice or even care. She was delighted nonetheless. "Oh it is perfect! Merci!" She giggled and dashed within the shop so they could collect her gift. At least Anna was well behaved once she had her gift in hand. Not a single utterance of complaint against the travel or being hungry passed her lips the entire ride back to the airport where they boarded the plane once more.

Anna waited, albeit fidgeting constantly, for the plane to level out and to be told she could leave her seat. She had insisted that the dollhouse not be in the cargo hold but up with them so she could play with it on the way back. "I'm gonna play with my present!" Anna quickly unlatched her seat and hurried over to the floor where the massive hand-built victorian dollhouse was situated. Of course with the purchase of the dollhouse she had also weaseled into getting dolls to go with it. A dollhouse wasn't complete without dolls after all. Anna hummed has she positioned furniture here and there and touted the dolls around.

"I had lots of kitties." Anna announced suddenly with the little girl doll in hand she had placed it in the fake office in a chair. "The best kitties were just mine though, they protected the best against the traitor." Her icy gaze glanced over her shoulder to Sebastian. "Can I have kitties again for my next present?" Of all the things to gently prod at the vampire child's memory to her past wasn't the ruins itself but Sebastian's present.
