Arlo James

See what it's like to be a vulture's lunch

He was aware, vaguely, of the other vampire saying something and yet his mind barely processed it. A part of him was surprised, still, at how utterly calm his victim was remaining and yet in the grips of that bloodlust Arlo's own truly young age surely showed. He could not ignore that blood. He could not turn away from it. His mind and body fixated upon it until he could barely remember what he had been attempting to do in the first place. Blood alone existed for him, lessening even that self-preservation that had kept him alive this far. He was mostly sure the other vampire was incapacitated enough not to be able to chase him and too- he had at least some faith in his ability to get free if the other man managed to get his arms around him and yet still these considerations had fallen to the back of his mind. He was suddenly beyond hungry. He was suddenly starving. That request from the man to be released was met with a simple shake of his head as Arlo reached for that hand, carefully wiping the gravel from it with a gentle tenderness that so betrayed his earlier actions before running his tongue across the palm to lick those few traces of glorious blood from it.

How that taste might entice him! How that blood sung! This vampire perhaps the oldest he had ever tasted and how addictive that was. His hand slid lower then, tightening around the other man's wrist with a sudden and undeniable strength, keeping him still before lifting that wrist to his lips. The tips of his fangs barely graced the surface of that skin, Arlo readying himself to bite down, oblivious to that magic that suddenly seemed to ensnare him and see him hesitate in turn. The idea of injuring the man before him abruptly horrific. Arlo dropping his wrist in near the same moment. That hunger still existed, in fact, it very near burned within him and yet something almost akin to....lust had taken hold of him. It was confusing to say the least. Arlo left momentarily dumfounded in some effort to understand this new feeling. The vampire before him suggesting he hardly wanted to bite someone he found attractive.

"I....don't know."

His features had shifted into a look of wary conflict, the man seeming to be fighting some internal battle. He had never found a man attractive before. Arlo assured he had always been heterosexual and yet he could hardly deny that he found the vampire before him...stunning. So much so he was entirely contemplating untying him and finding some abandoned alleyway somewhere that might let him be alone with the other man to have his way with him. God he was...breathtaking and yet beyond that Arlo found himself simply lusting after the man in the purely physical sense. The vampire no longer sure what he wanted at all. His gaze moving to meet the other man's own at last, his heart almost fluttering like he was a boy of sixteen again! One hand lifting now to run through his hair before his gaze flicked to that webbing still binding his love interest's legs. He should get rid of that, how entirely impolite. His fingers reached easily for it then, that web so obeying his affinity and releasing from around the vampires legs, freeing him at last as Arlo stood, arms folding across his chest. Was this what being gay felt like? Did it just...strike you one day? God he'd been so sure he liked women. Maybe this was how it happened.

"I don't think I want to bite you anymore. I mean I do, but I....want a lot more from you too. God, I've never flirted with a dude before I'm bad at this, sorry. No hard feelings about the web either, I'm just hungry that's all and like....I might be gay and have just realized it."
