Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

WANNA BE A REAL FAKE

Alice knew moving was a necessity, when she overstayed her welcome and she herself began to forget what age she was pretending to be. That was until the news came around, about this city, that things would be different here. That maybe she wouldn't have to move anymore, that she could stay for a little while longer. It didn't take more than a couple of plane rides and quite a relaxing car ride to arrive at what would be her new home. Anacosta Heights... It was obviously the upper class area of the city, as she spotted the tall, iron gates, and the enormous mansions not far behind them. Eventually she found her own house, one she had purchased with the millions she had accumulated by her intentionally failed marriages with wealthy, wealthy men.

Looking to her left, there was a screen implanted into a brick column, and a voice sounded from the other end. "Welcome Ms. Reed." Slightly startled at how this almost computer-like voice knew who she was. Then she noticed it was like a webcam, though she couldn't see who she was talking to, obviously the voice on the other end could see Alice. Graciously, the gates swung open, and she pulled into the driveway, parking her car near the front door. Though all her belongings had already been moved into the house, she insisted that they not unpack the boxes. She found it therapeutic to put her stuff in their new place, in her new home. Smiling to herself, she repeated the word, except this time outloud. "Home..." It would take a while to get used to that one..

Silently, she arranged the furniture in the master bedroom, which as soon as she saw the walk-in closet, had decided was hers, swiftly placing her bed against the wall, dressing it with crimson and cream bedsheets and covers. Fluffing the pillows, vigorously, she then placed a bedside dresser, well, beside her bed. Running a hand through her hair, Alice looked around, realizing her job was actually done. Huffing, she collapsed on her bed, not because she was exhausted, or even slightly tired, but she needed to just stop and think for a second.

Perhaps get her shit together.
