Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Now that Kohl and I have established that I'm sticking around for a while and I've laid most of his "insecurities" about us to rest, I can get back to my job with the council and looking after the humans and innocent supernaturals of Sacrosanct. I spent the first few weeks mostly laid up in bed with Kohl. I think he even took out some vacation time just so he could do less work from home then usual and spend time with me. I won't lie when I say most of it was spent in the bedroom but we eventually surfaced to watch some movies in the den and even go out on a few dates. It was interesting, to say the least.

But tonight is a night for the creatures of the dark and so it's a good night to hunt. I've got my trusty blades hidden in their usual spots and I'm ready to kick some ass. I heard rumors of a rogue weredog wandering the city streets, usually around the residence area. They say she's a doberman with piercing green eyes and that she's got a nasty taste for human flesh. She's got the locals scared, thinking its an epidemic of rabies and the animal control can't catch a glimpse of her to catch her but I knew it was more than just a rabid dog from the beginning. What dog can stay alive with rabies for over a month and take out four cops without leaving anyone alive? They saw it was a blood bath.

I'm looking through the confidential crime file as I walk the alleys. The pictures are definitely gorey. She went through great lengths to make it as defiling as possible. The positions of some of the victims....maybe she's a were who got sexually assaulted and now she wants revenge? I only know it's a female were because I got some of the urine analyzed that she happened to leave on the clothes of one of her victims. Apparently she likes to piss on them as well. Definitely symbolic, I just don't know what message she's trying to send. But I will soon enough.
